Javin White: Dropped with torn ACL

White (knee) was waived with an injury designation by the Bears on Tuesday, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
White suffered a torn ACL while playing on kickoff coverage during Chicago's preseason opener Saturday. The 25-year-old will now presumably revert to the Bears' IR upon clearing waivers.

Raiders' Javin White: Won't return Saturday

White (knee) has been ruled out of Saturday's preseason contest against the Rams, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
White was waived by the Raiders last year and ended up on their practice squad for the remainder of the season. The undrafted free agent is competing with 2016 first-round pick Darron Lee and 2021 third-round pick Divine Deablo for backup reps behind Cory Littleton.
