The rookie sixth-round pick was able to clear concussion protocols and played in Week 13 against the Chargers, during which he played five snaps on special teams. Despite being a full participant in practice all week, it appears Washington is back in concussion protocols and will be sidelined for Sunday's contest as a result.

Washington was limited in Wednesday's practice, so it appears he is progressing through the league's five-step concussion protocols. However, in order to play against the Chargers on Sunday, Washington will need to be cleared by an independent neurologist. That could happen as soon as Friday's practice when the Falcons will assign injury designations to players on the injury report.

While he posted an inefficient line overall, Washington was the subject of plenty of attention from the Falcons' quarterbacks while garnering team-high reception and target totals.
