Steelers' Cole Holcomb: Cleared from foot issue
Holcomb should be ready to participate in OTAs after he recently said that his foot is fully healed, Joe Rutter of Trib Live reports.
Holcomb, who underwent season-ending foot surgery that ultimately caused him to miss the final 10 games of the 2022 campaign, is currently in line to be back at full strength by the time Pittsburgh's offseason program begins. The 26-year-old just signed with the Steelers on March 15 after having spent his first four NFL seasons in Washington, and he should eventually command a starting linebacker role this coming fall.

Steelers' Cole Holcomb: Strikes deal with Steelers
Holcomb (foot) and the Steelers agreed to a three-year contract Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Holcomb will head to Pittsburgh after spending the first four seasons of his career in Washington. The linebacker sustained a foot injury in late October and failed to play in any of the Commanders' final 10 games, but he's expected to be ready for OTAs after undergoing surgery in December. He finished the 2022 season with 69 tackles and one pass breakup over his seven appearances.

Commanders' Cole Holcomb: Undergoes season-ending surgery
Holcomb underwent season-ending foot surgery Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
After being placed on injured reserve last week with the foot injury that has sidelined him since Week 7, Holcomb elected for surgery to address the issue. As a result, he'll finish the season with 69 tackles and a pass deflection over seven contests. Jon Bostic will remain the Commanders' top option at middle linebacker down the stretch.

Commanders' Cole Holcomb: IR-bound with foot injury
Washington placed Holcomb (foot) on its injured reserve Friday, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.
Holcomb had already missed the Commanders' last four games dealing with the foot injury, and after meeting with a specialist before landing on IR, he'll now have to miss at least the next four games. Until Holcomb is healthy enough to play again, Jamin Davis, David Mayo and Jon Bostic should continue to do the heavy lifting at linebacker for Washington.

Coach Ron Rivera said Wednesday that Holcomb is meeting with a foot specialist, John Keim of ESPN.com reports.
Holcomb has missed four straight games due to a foot injury, and he will now visit a specialist to undergo further examination. It remains to be seen whether the starting linebacker will be able to suit up Week 12 versus the Falcons, but if he's unavailable, Jon Bostic could draw another start Sunday.

Holcomb is slated to miss his fourth consecutive contest as a result of the foot injury he sustained in Week 7 versus the Packers. While David Mayo (hamstring) is currently listed as questionable and both Milo Eifler (hamstring) and Drew White (knee) remain on injured reserve, Jon Bostic, Jamin Davis and Khaleke Hudson are in line to handle linebacker duties Sunday in Houston.
