The Chargers signed Johnson to the practice squad Wednesday.
Johnson will stick around in Los Angeles after signing with the Bolts in April as an undrafted free agent. The East Carolina product finished the preseason with three catches (on eight targets) for 53 yards.

Jaylen Johnson: Waived by Chargers
The Chargers waived Johnson on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Johnson went undrafted out of East Carolina back in April and latched on with Los Angeles for the offseason. He finished the preseason with three catches for 53 yards on 49 offensive snaps.
