Player Outlook
Likely is an attractive prospect because he's much more of a receiver than a blocker at tight end. A day may come where he becomes a focal point of the Ravens offense, but it's unlikely to happen in 2023. Instead, file this nugget away: In three games last year when Mark Andrews was hurt or out, Likely had 19.7, 9.4 and 18.3 PPR points. That's an idea of what his upside is if he ever becomes the Ravens' top tight end. Likely is worth stashing in Dynasty and long-term keeper leagues, but not worth taking in a seasonal format.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Week 13 Waiver Priority List

Likely didn't have a huge game in Week 12 at the Chargers in the first game without Mark Andrews (ankle) with four catches for 40 yards, but he got six targets, which is encouraging. I'm going to add Likely and stash him during Baltimore's bye in Week 13 where he's available, and you should as well. After the bye, Baltimore faces the Rams and Jaguars, and Likely could emerge as a No. 1 Fantasy tight end in all leagues. He's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your FAB.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Six targets as starter

Likely recorded four receptions on six targets for 40 yards in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Chargers. As expected, Likely took over the top tight end role in Baltimore in the absence of Mark Andrews (ankle). He finished second on the team with six targets, and he paced all Baltimore pass catchers in yardage. Likely should remain significantly involved in the offense moving forward, though he's likely to cede volume to the likes of Zay Flowers and Odell Beckham depending on the context of a given matchup.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Bust Alert (Start/Sit)

Likely has a big opportunity and a great matchup in Week 12 at the Chargers, but I'm not ready to trust him as a starter yet in the majority of leagues, even with Mark Andrews (ankle) out. While Likely averaged 13.9 PPR points in two starts for Andrews last season, he only had one catch for 4 yards on one target in Week 1 against Houston when Andrews missed the game. The Ravens have a better receiving corps this season to help Lamar Jackson, and Likely might not get enough targets to succeed, even against the Chargers, who are No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. I'm hopeful Likely can step up with Andrews out, but I need to see it first before starting him.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Week 12 Streamers (TE Preview)

Likely has been absolutely irrelevant in a small sample size without Andrews this season. And last year was a completely different system without Zay Flowers or Odell Beckham. Still, Likely had four games with double-digit Fantasy points last year including a monster Week 18 performance where he caught eight passes for 103 yards. The cupboards are bare on the tight end waiver wire, might as well take a shot at that type of upside against one of the worst defenses in the league.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Week 12 Waiver Priority List

Likely should be the No. 1 tight end in Baltimore with Mark Andrews (ankle) out, and you should add Likely in all leagues for up to 10 percent of your FAB based on his potential alone. Last year as a rookie, Likely played two games without Andrews and combined for nine catches for 127 yards and a touchdown on 18 targets. He averaged 13.9 PPR points over that span, and there's plenty of upside for Likely as the top tight end for Lamar Jackson. However, this Ravens offense has a better receiving corps than last year, and we already saw Likely struggle in Week 1 when Andrews was out with one catch for 4 yards on one target against Houston. Still, there's a lot to like about what Likely can become, so he's worth at least considering in all leagues, whether you need a tight end or not.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Set for increased role

Likely appears poised to become a significant piece of Baltimore's offense after Mark Andrews (ankle) suffered a long-term injury in Thursday's 34-20 win over the Bengals, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Likely has had a limited impact in his second NFL season, tallying only nine catches across 11 games. He entered Thursday's game against the Bengals with just 170 offensive snaps, though his usage will certainly increase moving forward. Likely showed some potential as a pass catcher in his rookie year, racking up four catches of 20 or more yards while also topping 100 receiving yards in Week 18.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Light role once again Week 7

Likely played 17 snaps on offense and wasn't targeted Sunday in the Ravens' 24-16 win over the Titans in London. Since taking on a 71 percent snap share in the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Texans while Mark Andrews was sidelined, Likely has predictably faded back into a smaller role on offense. He's played fewer than one-third of the Ravens' snaps on offense in five consecutive games and has gone without a target on each of the past three contests.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Costly drop in loss

Likely had one reception for 20 yards on two targets in Sunday's loss to Indianapolis. Likely continues to struggle to make an impact, and there are concerning trends in regards to his role. While his two targets marked a season high, his snap count fell under 20 and has decreased each week since the season began. Likely also had a costly drop late in the game that could have extended a Ravens drive. The team's new offense has not been as inclined to use two-TE sets as it was in the past, and with Mark Andrews now healthy, the room for Likely to produce is shrinking. Baltimore travels to Cleveland to face the Browns in Week 4.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Catches one pass in win

Likely secured his only target for eight yards in Sunday's 27-24 win over the Bengals. Likely operated as the Ravens' primary backup tight end Sunday with Mark Andrews making his 2023 debut. The 23-year-old took the field for just 25 of Baltimore's 75 offensive snaps and, as expected, was not an important part of the team's offensive game plan. With Andrews healthy, Likely should remain off the fantasy radar when the Ravens host the Colts in Week 3.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Headed back to backup role

Likely is set to move into a reduced role Sunday against the Bengals with Mark Andrews (quadriceps) listed as questionable but on track to make his season debut, Glenn Erby of USA Today reports. Barring any late setbacks with his injured quad leading up to Sunday's 1 p.m. ET kickoff, Andrews should start at tight end and see a typical workload after he closed the week as a full practice participant. While Andrews was sidelined for the Week 1 matchup with the Texans, Likely couldn't take advantage of the favorable matchup against a weak opponent, nor a big bump in playing time. Despite taking the field for 41 of the Ravens' offensive plays (71 percent share), Likely managed just a four-yard reception on his lone target.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: In line for bigger role

Likely is expected to serve as the Ravens' No. 1 tight end Sunday against the Texans with Mark Andrews (quadricep) listed as questionable for the contest but considered unlikely to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. With the Ravens expected to err on the side of caution with Andrews for Week 1, Likely should be in store for an extended role on offense and becomes an intriguing streaming option for tight-end-needy fantasy squads. He started two games as a rookie last season when Andrews was sidelined and recorded nine catches for 127 yards and one touchdown between those contests.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Returns to practice

Likely (undisclosed) was able to practice Thursday, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports. Likely was believed to be dealing with a contusion, although specifics of it were not available. Ultimately though, the second-year pro's quick recovery and return to the field is good news for the Ravens. The 23-year-old generated buzz with his preseason performance last season, which carried over to a modest contribution of 36 catches for 373 yards and three touchdowns in his rookie campaign. He'll continue to work to earn a larger role in Baltimore's passing game in his second NFL season.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Misses practice

Likely didn't participate in Wednesday's practice due to an undisclosed injury, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports. Per Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic, Likely is dealing with a contusion and could be back later this week or next week. Assuming he avoids any further setbacks, Likely is slated to continue to work behind top tight end Mark Andrews heading into the regular season. In 16 games as a rookie in 2022, Likely recorded 36 catches (on 60 targets) for 373 yards and three touchdowns. As long as Andrews is available, Likely's fantasy upside is modest, but the 23-year-old offers streaming appeal in the event that Andrews misses time for any reason.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Cashes in short score

Likely caught three of five targets for 12 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 16-13 loss to Pittsburgh. Likely teamed up with fellow tight end Mark Andrews (9-100-0) to provide nearly all of the Ravens' receiving output Sunday (130 total passing yards). The rookie was the beneficiary of Tyler Huntley's lone passing touchdown, with the veteran taking care of the heavy lifting between the end zones. Likely hasn't topped 18 receiving yards in any of the four games Huntley has started, but he would receive a boost in projections if Lamar Jackson (knee) is able to return from injury to face the Bengals in Sunday's regular-season finale.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Another quiet showing

Likely had two receptions on three targets for 18 yards in Saturday's 13-3 loss to the Browns. Likely once again took the backseat to fellow tight end Mark Andrews, as the latter saw 30 more offensive snaps in Week 15 compared to the rookie. With wide receiver Devin Duvernay having suffered a potentially significant injury during Tuesday's practice, Likely could be more involved in Baltimore's passing game down the stretch if Duvernay indeed misses time. The Ravens are now scheduled to host the Falcons on Saturday.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Efficient outing Sunday

Likely caught all four of his targets for 30 yards Sunday against the Broncos. The rookie returned from a one-game absence Sunday and turned in one of his more efficient outings of the season. It marked the third time this season he caught every target. Likely seemed to have a solid rapport with Tyler Huntley after he came in for the injured Lamar Jackson (knee). Still, Mark Andrews, Demarcus Robinson and Devin Duvernay led the team in targets. Baltimore plays at Pittsburgh in Week 14.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Practices fully Thursday

Likely (ankle) returned to a full practice Thursday. The 2022 fourth-rounder was limited Wednesday, but Likely's return to a full practice Thursday puts him in line to suit up Sunday against the Broncos. However, as long as Baltimore's star tight end Mark Andrews is healthy and available, Likely will profile as a hit-or-miss fantasy option.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Picks up ankle injury

Likely is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars with an ankle injury. Likely appears to have suffered the injury in practice Friday, when he was listed as a limited participant after having not been included on the injury report Wednesday and Thursday. Even if the rookie tight end suits up this weekend, he's unlikely to play a major role barring an injury to starter Mark Andrews.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Likely is only worth adding if Mark Andrews (shoulder) doesn't play in Week 11 against Carolina, and it appears like Andrews will return for this matchup. In his past two games with Andrews either hurt or out, Likely has 12 targets for seven catches, 101 yards and two touchdowns for a combined 28 PPR points. He would be a top-10 Fantasy tight end if Andrews is out against the Panthers and is worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Ravens' Isaiah Likely: Tallies early touchdown

Likely recorded one reception on five targets for 24 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 27-13 win over the Saints. Likely turned in an underwhelming effort in the absence of Mark Andrews (shoulder) despite leading the team with five targets. He looked to be in for a big performance after connecting with Lamar Jackson for a 24-yard catch to tally Baltimore's first touchdown of the game, but he was silent from that point forward. Likely's run as the team's starting tight end could also be coming to an end, as Andrews will have the chance to rest and recover during Baltimore's Week 10 bye.
