The Broncos signed McAllister to a reserve/future contract Monday, Aric DiLalla of the team's official site reports.
McAllister first joined Denver as an undrafted free agent in May, but he sustained a hamstring injury during the preseason and was waived from IR with an injury settlement in August. He then spent time on and off the team's practice squad since mid-November, so he has yet to make his NFL debut. McAllister will now once again look to carve out a spot on the Broncos' active roster heading into the 2023 season.

Just over two weeks after being cut from the practice squad, McAllister is signing with Denver again in hopes of making a better impression on Broncos coaches. With Denver badly banged up at running back, it wouldn't be a surprise to see the team elevate McAllister for Sunday's game versus Arizona.

McAllister suffered a hamstring injury during practice Tuesday, Ellie Kinney of the Broncos' official site reports.
McAllister's injury was supposed to be evaluated after practice, but there currently is no update on his condition. The 24-year-old joined the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Charleston in May, and is competing with Mike Boone and Max Borghi for the No. 3 spot on the Broncos' running back positional depth chart.
