Morice Norris: Gets another look from Detroit
Norris (undisclosed) worked out for the Lions on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Norris joined Detroit as an undrafted free agent out of Fresno State in the spring, but he was ultimately waived from IR with an injury settlement due to the undisclosed injury. The Lions bringing him back in for another look suggests he's fully healed, and that they at least liked what they saw from him during camp before the injury.

Morice Norris: Waived from IR
The Lions waived Norris (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Norris was in line to miss the entire 2024 season after shifting to IR on Thursday, but he's now free to sign elsewhere once he proves that he's medically ready to return to the field.

Lions' Morice Norris: Reverts to injured reserve
Norris (undisclosed) reverted to the Lions' injured reserve Thursday after going unclaimed on waivers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The cornerback needs to reach an injury settlement with the Lions to play in 2024. Norris recorded 59 tackles, including 9.5 for a loss, for Fresno State in 2023.

The Lions waived/injured Norris on Wednesday.
If Norris goes unclaimed off waivers, he'll revert to the Lions' injured reserve. That would cause the 23-year-old corner to sit out for the entire 2024 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Detroit.
