  • Bears' Teven Jenkins: Won't return versus Cleveland

    Jenkins (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Browns, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports. In addition to a concussion, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reported that Jenkins had his left arm "at a 90 degree angle" when he ran into Myles Garrett with his shoulder. Cody Whitehair will take over for Jenkins at left guard for the remainder of Sunday's contest.

  • Bears' Teven Jenkins: Joins active roster

    Jenkins (calf) was activated to the 53-man roster Thursday. Jenkins returned to practice this week after missing the first four games of the season while on injured reserve. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Jenkins will be active Thursday against the Commanders, although it's not clear what role if any, he'll have on the Bears' offensive line.

  • Bears' Teven Jenkins: Designated for return

    Jenkins (calf) was designated to return from IR on Monday, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports. Jenkins has missed the mandatory four games since being placed on injured reserve and he'll be able to return to play as soon as Thursday against the Commanders. However, that quick of a return is not guaranteed, and the team now has 21 days to add him to the 53-man roster. Once he proves he is healthy, he should take over as the team's starter at left guard.

  • Bears' Teven Jenkins: Moved to IR

    The Bears placed Jenkins (leg) on injured reserve Thursday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports. Head coach Ryan Poles noted Wednesday that the injury is "a week-to-week thing." Jenkins is set to miss the first four games of the 2023 season as he recovers from his injury.
