  • Rams' Miller Forristall: Signs futures deal with Rams

Forristall signed a reserve/future contract with the Rams on Tuesday. Forristall spent the majority of the 2023 season on the Rams' practice squad. He'll compete for a roster spot in 2024 in a tight end room that could be without Tyler Higbee (knee) to begin the season after Higbee tore his ACL and MCL in the team's wild-card round loss to the Lions.

  • Miller Forristall: Returns to Los Angeles

Forristall was signed to the Rams' practice squad Wednesday. Forristall was cut from the team's practice squad Dec. 5, but he'll now return to add organizational depth at tight end with Hunter Long (knee) going on IR and Tyler Higbee still working through a neck injury.

  • Miller Forristall: Cut loose by L.A.

The Rams cut Forristall from their practice squad Tuesday. Forristall had spent the majority of the year with Los Angeles' practice squad, but the team has now decided to part ways with the 25-year-old tight end. The Alabama product spent the first two seasons of his career with the Browns, and his most recent in-game action came back in 2022.

  • Miller Forristall: Signs with Rams' practice squad

The Rams signed Forristall to their practice squad Tuesday. After being waived by Cleveland back in August, Forristall has found another opportunity to make an impression with the Rams. As long as Tyler Higbee remains healthy though, it's not likely any other Rams tight end is going to register on the fantasy radar.

  • Saints' Miller Forristall: Passes physical Monday

Forristall (undisclosed) passed his physical Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The Saints will presumably activate Forristall off the active/PUP list now that he's healthy. The undrafted product out of Alabama has been in the league since 2021, mostly spending time on the Browns' practice squad. He's appeared in six games over the past two seasons, but he failed to catch his only target during that stretch.

The Browns signed Forristall to the practice squad Wednesday. Now, he returns to the practice squad and gets a chance to continue his development.

  • Miller Forristall: Let go Monday

Forristall was waived by the Brows on Monday. Forristall played in one contest for the Browns this season, which was in Week 4 against Atlanta. He played nine snaps on offense, but he failed to earn any targets. With the recent addition of Pharaoh Brown to the team's tight-end corps, Forristall became expendable. However, he'll now work to earn an opportunity elsewhere.

  • Miller Forristall: Signed to Browns' practice squad

The Browns signed Forristall to their practice squad Wednesday. Forristall failed to make the team after appearing in two games last season, but he went unclaimed on waivers, allowing the Browns to bring him back into the organization. He's likely the top option to be elevated to the roster should injuries befall Browns tight ends David Njoku or Harrison Bryant.

  • Miller Forristall: Out with injury

The Browns placed Forristall on the practice squad injured list Saturday with a hamstring injury. Forristall re-signed with Cleveland's practice squad earlier in the weekend. • Miller Forristall: Gets cut by Browns

Forristall was cut by the Browns on Friday. Forristall became expendable with the Browns' tight-end unit healthy now that Austin Hooper has returned from the COVID list and Harrison Bryant has bounced back from an ankle injury. With the Browns' defensive line and secondary units dealing with several issues, it makes sense to use that roster space elsewhere. Forristall appeared in two games for the Browns this season, playing 11 snaps on offense and generating no stats.

  • Browns' Miller Forristall: Expected to be activated Sunday

Forristall could be activated for Sunday's game against the Ravens, with Harrison Bryant (ankle) ruled out and David Njoku (COVID-19) questionable, Marla Ridenour of the Akron Beacon Journal reports. Forristall has been on the Browns' practice squad since the middle of September and is well versed in the offense, per head coach Kevin Stefanski. If Cleveland is down two tight ends, it would have only Forristall and starting tight end Austin Hooper available. They would be forced to use an offensive lineman for their 13 personnel alignments, which is a regular feature of the offense when Bryant and Njoku are healthy.

  • Browns' Miller Forristall: Signed to active roster

The Browns signed Forristall to the active roster from their practice squad Tuesday. Forristall spent the first week of the season on the Titans' practice squad before joining the Browns' practice squad Sept. 20. He was elevated for the team's Week 8 contest against the Bengals but never saw the field. The undrafted rookie free agent will have his best chance to make his NFL debut in Week 14, as David Njoku and Stephen Carlson are both on the COVID-19 list, and Harrison Bryant (ankle) is doubtful.
