    Jennings has agreed to a three-year contract with the Patriots, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Jennings will remain in New England, where the 2020 third-round draft pick has spent his entire career up to this point. He posted 66 tackles (49 solo) across 15 appearances (14 starts) in 2023, but it remains to be seen if the linebacker will hold onto a starting role in 2024 under New England's new coaching staff.

  • Patriots' Anfernee Jennings: Gets after QB in Week 12 defeat

    Jennings posted four tackles (two solo), including 1.5 sacks, in Sunday's loss to the Giants. Jennings came into the contest without any sacks this season, but he took advantage of a porous New York offensive line to record a full sack in the third quarter and a half-sack in the fourth. The 26-year-old has seen an increased role in his third NFL campaign, and he's already set career-high marks with 394 defensive snaps and 39 total tackles through nine contests.

  • Patriots' Anfernee Jennings: Back from injury

    Jennings (wrist) played in the Patriots' preseason game against the Titans on Friday, Jordy McElroy of Patriots Wire reports. The linebacker recorded two tackles, including one for a loss, in New England's 23-7 defeat. Jennings left the team's Aug. 14 practice with an apparent wrist injury. The 2020 third-round pick has 47 tackles and seven starts over two healthy seasons and is looking to secure a key role in the team's defense ahead of the coming campaign.

    Jennings left Monday's practice early after suffering an apparent wrist injury, Zack Cox of NESN.com reports. The injury occurred while Jennings was rushing the passer during team drills.
