Ya-Sin (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Rams, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports. Ya-Sin departed Sunday's contest versus the Chargers with an apparent knee injury and was ultimately unable to practice in any capacity prior to Thursday's matchup against the Rams. While the 26-year-old is sidelined, Nate Hobbs, Sam Webb, Amik Robertson and Sidney Jones should hold down the fort at cornerback for Las Vegas in Week 14.... See More ... See Less -

Raiders' Rock Ya-Sin: Traded to Las Vegas
The Raiders acquired Ya-Sin (ankle/hip) from the Colts on Wednesday in exchange for edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports. Ya-Sin suffered ankle and hip injuries in the Colts' regular-season finale against the Jaguars that may require offseason surgery, but he doesn't look like he'll be at any major risk of missing the start of the 2022 campaign. The 2019 second-round pick appeared in 13 games for the Colts last season and totaled 31 tackles (27 solo), eight pass deflections, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He's heading into a contract year, so the defensive back should be plenty motivated to perform for his new squad.... See More ... See Less -

Colts' Rock Ya-Sin: Ready for Week 4
Ya-Sin (illness) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Ya-Sin has missed back-to-back games due to a stomach illness, but it now appears that he's ready for Sunday's match in Chicago. Colts' Rock Ya-Sin: Still dealing with ailment
Ya-Sin (illness) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice. Ya-Sin was forced to leave Sunday's contest against the Jets with an illness, however, the ailment is non-COVID-19 related. Expect the situation to be touch-and-go depending on how the Temple product is feeling, but he still has a few practice days to get healthy. If he's unavailable for Week 4 against Chicago, TJ Carrie and Kenny Moore would be in line for an uptick in snaps.... See More ... See Less -
Colts' Rock Ya-Sin: Set to sit out Sunday
Ya-Sin (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game versus the Jets. Ya-Sin hasn't been able to practice since being a last-minute scratch in Week 2, but he'll aim to get better before Week 4's matchup against the Bears. Expect TJ Carrie to see a bump in usage until Ya-Sin is able to return.... See More ... See Less -

The second-year pro has since been released from the hospital, but a timetable for his return to practice remains undisclosed. Ya-Sin (ankle) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. After sitting out Week 12's loss to the Texans, Ya-Sin is expected to return to the lineup Sunday against the Titans.
