Raiders' Jaquan Johnson: Signing with Las Vegas
Johnson agreed to terms with the Raiders on a one-year deal Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Johnson now will leave Buffalo, where he's spent the past four seasons, and head out west to Las Vegas. The 2019 sixth-round pick is coming off of his most productive campaign, registering 32 tackles (16 solo) and an interception while playing on both defense and special teams. The 27-year-old will likely serve as a reserve safety in addition to playing on special teams for the Raiders next season.

Bills' Jaquan Johnson: Next man up
Johnson is expected to see an increased role Sunday against the Dolphins and possibly beyond with Micah Hyde expected to miss the season due to a neck injury.
The team has yet to confirm Hyde is out for the season, but his agent posted that very fact Saturday and the player has already been ruled out for Week 3. As for Johnson, he's a sixth-round pick from 2019 that's stuck around thanks to good backup play and strong special-teams work. He's only received 22 defensive snaps this season, figure that's about to spike up quickly.

Johnson (hamstring) doesn't have a injury designation heading into Sunday's contest against the Jets.
Johnson picked up a hamstring injury during the Bills' Week 9 loss to the Jaguars. He was limited in practices Wednesday and Thursday, but after a full practice Friday, he has been deemed healthy for Week 10.

Johnson is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Jaguars after suffering a hamstring injury, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Johnson picked up the injury early in Sunday's game and was later seen testing his hamstring on the sideline. He had not logged a tackle prior to the injury.

Bills' Jaquan Johnson: Likely starter at strong safety
Johnson is at strong safety in place of the injured Jordan Poyer (ankle) during warmups leading up to Sunday's contest against the Texans, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
Johnson has yet to suit up this season, but he appears in line to draw the start opposite of Micah Hyde during Week 4. The 25-year-old safety has played primarily special teams during his career, so this will be his first extended action on defense.

Saturday was the first game the second-year man has missed all season, but he appears to be trending upward. We'll see if Johnson can practice enough to be deemed fit to serve in his special-teams role Monday against the Patriots.

While the Bills have a relatively clean injury report given the late stage of the season, they'll be without one of their special teams guys for another week. Johnson will now turn toward Week 16 against the rival Patriots in his next attempt to see game action.

Bills' Jaquan Johnson: Won't play Sunday
Coach Sean McDermott said Friday that Johnson (ankle) is ruled out for Sunday's game against the Steelers, Sal Capaccio of WGR Sports Radio 550 Buffalo reports.
The Bills will have to roll without the young special-teams contributor during Sunday's key matchup against the Steelers, but McDermott said that the team's other injuries are "trending in the right direction."

Johnson was listed as a non-participant during Wednesday's walk-through practice session due to an ankle injury.
Johnson is only a special-teams guy at this stage of his young career. Even if he's able to suit up Sunday against the Steelers, that role is unlikely to change with the Bills being mostly healthy at this late stage of the season.
