Hill recorded a career-high 68 tackles and added three sacks and three fumble recoveries over 16 games during the regular season. The defensive tackle notched an additional nine tackles and one sack over the Bengals' three playoff games. The Bengals have netted a big profit in acquiring Hill from the Giants in advance of the 2021 season. He played a career-high 785 defensive snaps in 2022 and will remain a starting tackle for the Bengals as he heads into the second season of a three-year, $30 million deal in 2023.... See More ... Bengals' B.J. Hill: Staying in Cincinnati
Hill agreed to a three-year, $30 million deal with the Bengals on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Hill was traded to the Bengals ahead of the 2021 campaign and totaled 50 tackles (29 solo) and 5.5 sacks across 16 appearances. The 2018 third-round pick figures to be a key piece along the Bengals' defensive front over the next three seasons.... See More ... See Less -

If the defensive tackle is unable to play, Josh Tupou and Tyler Shelvin could end seeing an increase in snaps.... See More ... See Less -
Giants' B.J. Hill: Shows promise as rookie
Hill made 48 tackles, 5.5 sacks and two passes defended across 16 games with the Giants in 2018. Hill's sack total is a bit misleading, as most of them came during an outlier three-sack performance against the Bears in Week 13. Nonetheless, the 22-year-old's strong rookie season lends optimism to his future in the NFL. Hill is expected to start again at defensive end in 2019.... See More ... See Less
