Malone signed with Pittsburgh's practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Malone had originally signed with the Steelers' practice squad Oct. 18 before being cut less than two weeks later. The 26-year-old made his NFL debut in 2017 with the Bengals, and he has spent time with several teams since, but he has not appeared in an NFL game since 2020. He'll now work to find his way onto Pittsburgh's 53-man roster.

Malone caught four of six targets for 16 yards and rushed for 12 yards on a lone carry in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Considering the Jets entered the game without Jamison Crowder (hamstring) and Denzel Mims (hamstring), and they lost Breshad Perriman (ankle) and Chris Hogan (ribs), Malone was one of two wide receivers remaining when the game ended. Expect Malone to be back on the active roster for Week 3 versus the Colts.
