Tyus Bowser: Let go by Baltimore
Bowser (knee) is in line to be released by the Ravens, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Bowser missed the entire 2023 season while recovering from a torn Achilles and a subsequent knee injury, but he anticipates playing in 2024. The linebacker will likely have to earn a role elsewhere after the Ravens parted ways with Bowser on Wednesday to create about $5.5 million in cap space. Bowser's most productive season came in 2021, when he set career highs in both tackles (59) and sacks (7.0).

Ravens' Tyus Bowser: Still working on recovery
Bowser (knee) is making a full recovery from knee surgery and will "definitely be back next season," Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Bowser told Wilson he is healthy now after dealing with fluid in his knee. The 28-year-old hasn't played since 2022, and, despite hoping to return early last season, he ended up spending the year on the reserve/non-football injury list. Bowser added that he loves playing in Baltimore and wants to get back to how he performed a few seasons ago before suffering a torn Achilles in January 2022.

Ravens' Tyus Bowser: Still without official timetable
Bowser (knee) has yet to return to practice with the Ravens.
Bowser has been able to work off to the side with trainers though, so he's at least active in some capacity. Head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Bowser's situation has "gotten a little more complicated over the last couple weeks," so it's unclear where the linebacker stands in his recovery. The 28-year-old has been out all season so far after suffering a non-football knee injury, and his eventual potential return will offer Baltimore another significant threat off the edge.

Baltimore placed Bowser (knee) on the reserve/non-football injury list Tuesday.
Bowser had been on the active/NFI list, though there had been some hope that he would be moved off the NFI list entirely by the start of the regular season. Instead, the veteran linebacker will be forced to miss at least the first four weeks of the campaign. Bowser's starting slot could be absorbed by David Ojabo, though his status is currently questionable due to an undisclosed injury.

The Ravens are optimistic Bowser (knee) can make his season debut by Week 3, Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Ravens' Tyus Bowser: Progressing in recovery
Bowser's knee "looked the best it's looked" since camp started recently, coach John Harbaugh relayed Monday, and Harbaugh added that Bowser's expected to be available for the start of the regular season, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.
Bowser remains on the active/non-football injury list, but Baltimore's trainers believe he will be cleared in time to suit up when the Ravens kick off the regular season Sunday, Sept. 10 against the Texans. In the meantime, Bowser will continue to rehab his knee injury.

Bowser is currently on the active/non-football injury list, and his condition upon arrival to camp suggests it may still be a little while before he's ready to take the field. However, once he's healthy and able to pass a physical, he'll be cleared to play.

Bowser struggled to stay on the field last season as well, missing eight games with an Achilles issue. Ravens' Tyus Bowser: Returns to active roster
Bowser (Achilles) was activated to the 53-man roster Tuesday.
Bowser was designated to return from IR on Oct. 12, and his 21-day window to return was nearing its end. Although he has been practicing with the team, it's still unclear whether he'll be available for Monday's game with the Saints. When he does officially suit up for the first time this season, it'll be a big boost to a Ravens linebacker corps that has dealt with multiple injuries this season, which has also led to the recent acquisition of Roquan Smith.
