  • Rams' Tre'Davious White: L.A. bound

White (Achilles) is expected to sign a one-year, $8.5 million contract with the Rams, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. After spending his first seven years in Buffalo, White is traveling cross country for a fresh start in Los Angeles. Injuries have cut his previous two seasons short, including a torn Achilles on Oct. 1 of last season. It remains to be seen if he will be ready for the start of the 2024 campaign, but the 29-year-old projects to start at cornerback once his health allows it.

  • Tre'Davious White: Time up in Buffalo

The Bills will release White (Achilles) on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. White, a two-time Pro Bowl cornerback, will be designated as a post-June 1 cut, a move that saves Buffalo $10.2 million in cap space with $6.2 million in dead money and leaves him free to sign with another club at the start of the new league year. Formerly one of the league's best cornerbacks, questions now linger about White's health while he works his way back from surgery to address a right Achilles' tendon tear, which he suffered in October. His 2021 season came to an early end due to an ACL tear and limited him to just six regular-season contests in 2022.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Day to Day with injury

Head coach Sean McDermott says Benford is currently day to day with a shoulder injury, Jay Skurski of The Buffalo News reports. Benford hurt his shoulder during Sunday's win against the Dolphins and is now questionable for the upcoming game against the Jaguars. With Tre'Davious White (Achilles) out for the year, Buffalo could be extremely thin at corner if the 23-year-old is unable to play.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: May have suffered Achilles injury

White has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins and is being evaluated for a right Achilles injury after being carted off the field. White went down in the fourth quarter with what appeared to be a non-contact injury, potentially putting the 28-year-old's availability beyond Week 4 in jeopardy. The standout cornerback previously suffered a torn ACL in November 2021, though that injury was to his left leg. White recorded three solo tackles and a pass breakup before exiting the contest.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Won't play Sunday

White is listed as a healthy scratch for the Week 9 matchup against the Jets. White made his return from the injured reserve this week and didn't have any sort of injury designation ahead of the Week 9 matchup, but he'll ultimately end up sidelined. Look for Taron Johnson to again get a start at cornerback opposite Dane Jackson.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Undergoes surgery

White underwent surgery to repair his torn ACL on Tuesday, Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports. White sustained his torn ACL during the Bills' Thanksgiving Day win over the Saints and will now shift his focus toward his lengthy recovery process. Dane Jackson has served as a starter since White has been sidelined.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Done for season with torn ACL

White will miss the rest of the season, as the knee injury he suffered in Thursday's win over the Saints was a torn ACL, Chris Jenkins of the Bills' official site reports. This is a huge loss for the vaunted Bills defense, as White is among the league's stingiest shutdown cornerbacks. Dane Jackson likely will slide into the starting role opposite Levi Wallace, occupying the opening created by White's injury, while Taron Johnson continues to man the slot.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Cleared for action against KC

White (shoulder) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday night's game against the Chiefs, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. White was limited in all three of Buffalo's practices this week but isn't in danger of sitting out this high-profile matchup in prime time. The standout cornerback will have to be at the top of his game to contain top Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill, who repeatedly left the Eagles secondary in a cloud of dust en route to 11 catches for 186 yards and three touchdowns last week.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Limited ahead of KC matchup

White was listed as limited Wednesday due to a shoulder issue. We'd be pretty surprised if the star cornerback isn't out there this week when the team takes on the Chiefs in one of the better games on the regular-season slate. The White-Tyreek Hill matchup is must-see TV for football mavens. Still, IDP managers will look to see if White can work toward a clean designation by the time the Bills finish their work Friday.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Rings up nine tackles

White posted nine tackles (seven solo) in Sunday's 35-0 win over the Dolphins. The game script forced the Dolphins to throw a ton, so White was busy in coverage and led the team in tackles. He's typically not dependable in IDP formats, though, mostly because opponents look away from him so often, and he hasn't topped 60 stops since his rookie year in 2017.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Back at practice

Coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that White (shoulder) will participate in practice, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports. The Bills won't release an official injury report until Thursday, so it's uncertain whether White will handle limited or full practice reps Wednesday. Of course, it's encouraging to see the star cornerback on the field in any capacity after he was forced out of last weekend's win over the Broncos due to a shoulder issue.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Ready to face Cardinals

White (ankle) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. White's ankle injury forced him out late during last weekend's win over the Seahawks, but he resumed practicing in full Friday. All signs point to the star cornerback being a full-go for Sunday's tilt in Arizona, in which he'll likely face the task of holding DeAndre Hopkins in check.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Upgrades to limited

White is listed as a limited practice participant Thursday due to an ankle injury. White had to leave Sunday's win over Seattle late in the game, but he's starting to trend back up for the Week 10 contest in Arizona. Assuming he's able to go, he'll likely be tasked with keeping on eye on star receiver DeAndre Hopkins.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Misses another practice

White (back) did not practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at the Jets, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports. The back injury kept the star cornerback out of the Week 5 contest against the Titans while he played through it Monday against the Chiefs. After practicing fully Wednesday, it appears White's back is acting up again, leaving him as a true question mark for Sunday's game.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Returns to full practice

White (back) practiced in full Friday, paving the way for him to suit up Monday against the Chiefs, Sal Capaccio of the Bills' official site reports. White was inactive for just the second time in his career in last week's loss to the Titans, but the star cornerback is slated to return and try to slow down Chiefs speedster Tyreek Hill. This difficult matchup will certainly test just how healthy White is, but his likely return represents a major boost for Buffalo's defense regardless.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Unavailable against Titans

White (back) is inactive for Tuesday's game versus the Titans. White will miss the second game of his career after sitting out of every practice over the past week. This could be a bit of an issue for the Bills' secondary, which will also be without Levi Wallace (ankle), but it should help that the Titans' receiver corps is depleted behind A.J. Brown. White will aim to get healthy for a Week 6 matchup against the Chiefs.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Misses walkthrough Saturday

White (back) was listed as a non-participant for Saturday's walkthrough practice and is questionable for Tuesday's game in Tennessee, the Bills official site reports. White hasn't practiced at all this week, so his status for this week's game is truly up in the air. The one saving grace might be that the game has been moved to Tuesday, giving him an extra two-and-a-half days to get his back loosened up. He's one of the best three cornerbacks in the game, so his presence is important for a good Buffalo defense that's surprisingly struggled at times in 2020 so far.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Shoulder issue surfaces

White was limited during Wednesday's practice due to a shoulder injury. Coach Sean McDermott almost always errs on the side of caution with his veterans during the opening session of the week, so we won't worry too much about White's Week 3 status unless he regresses in his practice level Thursday or Friday. He's set to have a major role in Sunday's game trying to slow down a Rams offense that appears to be flying high once again.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Returns and plays major role

White returned from a shoulder injury that sidelined him temporarily Sunday against the Steelers and finished with two interceptions and four total tackles. White's second pick of the day -- following his return from the injury -- featured a 49-yard return that changed the tune of a game the Steelers had been leading, and in the end the Bills' playoff ticket was punched thanks to their stud corner. White's six interceptions are tied for the NFL lead -- the only problem in IDP leagues is that he's so good in coverage he someones gets avoided. Pittsburgh didn't take that path Sunday night and got burned badly. With the playoffs secure, White and the Bills will travel to New England next week to try and put some late pressure on the Patriots for the AFC East crown.

  • Bills' Tre'Davious White: Right back in there

White (shoulder) was able to return to Sunday's game against the Steelers, Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic reports. White was evidently able to get sufficient treatment for the injury quickly, so he's back out there anchoring Buffalo's stingy secondary.
