Listenbee was waived by the Colts with an undisclosed injury Friday, George Bremer of The Anderson Herald Bulletin reports.

  • Kolby Listenbee: Waived by Bills

Listenbee (groin) was waived with a non-football injury designation by the Bills on Tuesday, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

Listenbee was waived in order to make room on the roster for wideout Rashad Ross. The 23-year-old has had complications stemming from groin surgery he underwent over a year ago. If he can prove his health, Listenbee has a shot of making another roster before training camp begins.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: New regime unwilling to wait

Listenbee (hernia/pelvis) was waived Tuesday, reports.

Listenbee, a speedster out of TCU, missed his entire rookie season following three different surgeries for his issues, and after continuing his slow healing process the Bills decided they weren't willing to wait around any longer. The team instead signed Rashad Ross, while Listenbee could be a candidate for injured reserve if no other team wants him.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Still unable to practice

Listenbee, who underwent three different surgeries in 2016 for hernia/pelvis issues, was unable to participate during rookie minicamp Friday.

Listenbee was picked in the sixth round of the 2016 draft but didn't play a down last season. There are a few spots open in the receiving corps this time around, but the speedster has to get healthy first. We'll also note there's a whole new regime in town, one that didn't have anything to do with his selection. We'll see if he can start participating to some degree in an attempt to make an impression.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Slow comeback continues

Listenbee, who underwent three different surgeries in 2016 for hernia/pelvis issues, is expected to be fully cleared by training camp. "I talked to the surgeon when I first had surgery and he said four months for a full recovery," he the receiver. "They've also said that I won't be back until training camp. So when we get to OTAs I should be able to run, but it might just be on the side. Just learning technique and walking through plays so I can be ready for training camp."

Listenbee missed his entire rookie season following his sixth-round selection out of TCU. He'll have to impress a brand new coaching staff -- one that didn't select him -- in order to land a roster spot. However, if he can finally get back to full health he has a few things working in his favor, namely his world-class speed and the lack of signed receiving options that are locked with the Bills.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Another surgery

Listenbee had a second surgery this week to address continued complications with a hernia, reports.

The rookie wideout had a metal plate surgically implanted on his pelvis to correct the problem, so he should be fine for spring and summer work following a lost season. The speedster was selected in the sixth round out of TCU.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Not close to seeing action

Coach Rex Ryan said Monday that Listenbee, a sixth-round rookie out of TCU, still isn't ready to practice as he recovers from double hernia surgery, The Buffalo News reports.

Even though the Bills have been decimated at wideout all season, there's simply not going to be enough time for this year to be anything more than rehab and learning for the speedy rookie, who's incredibly raw but may also be one of the NFL's fastest players once he's back.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Heads to NFI list

Listenbee, still recovering from double hernia surgery, was placed on the Reserve/Non-Football Injury list Tuesday, reports.

Listenbee will miss at least the first six weeks of the regular season. The Bills have a major logjam at wide receiver and with some tough roster decisions to make, may just stash the speedy Listenbee away for the bulk of the season and then work on his upside once he's fully healthy and more prepared for action.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Not close to returning

Coach Rex Ryan said Wednesday that Listenbee (hernia) is not close to returning to practice, reports.

It's highly doubtful the super-fast sixth-rounder will be in the lineup come Week 1, so he's looking like a prime PUP or practice squad candidate.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Lands on NFI list

Listenbee (hernia) has been placed on the active/non-football injury list by the Bills, Mike Rodak of ESPN reports.

Listenbee had sports hernia surgery in March and hasn't been able to work with the team much since being drafted. He was hopeful that he'd be able to return for the start of camp but it appears he needed more time to recover. It isn't expected that he remains sidelined for much longer and the rookie wideout will be looking to snag a spot on the bottom of the Bills' receiving depth chart.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Ready to show off his speed

Listenbee, the team's sixth-round pick in April who missed most of the team's spring work due to pelvic inflammation following double sports hernia surgery in March, is hoping to be cleared for upcoming training camp practices, reports. "Rehab is going pretty good," said the rookie. "We're playing it by ear so every day is a different day. Hopefully I get better soon and I can practice the first day, but we'll see how it goes."

Listenbee is an absolute burner, but given the team's plethora of wideouts in camp, he's still going to need to make a good impression on coach Rex Ryan in order to land a spot on the team.

  • Bills' Kolby Listenbee: Signs rookie deal with Bills

The Bills have signed Listenbee (hernia) to a rookie contract, The Buffalo News reports.

Listenbee is an all-out burner who will instantly be one the league's fastest players. He was chosen in the sixth round for a reason, however, as he's not that big and never ran much more than deep routes at TCU. That said, the Bills have Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods and then a whole host of guys jockeying for the rest of the receiving spots. Once he recovers from his double hernia, Listenbee will use his speed to try and convince the Bills he can open up defenses and take the pressure of Watkins.
