49ers' Senio Kelemete: Joins 49ers
Kelemete agreed to a contract with the 49ers on Friday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
The 30-year-old was cut by the Texans in February after appearing in 14 games with five starts in 2020. Kelemete will provide veteran depth for San Francisco's offensive line after Justin Skule suffered a torn ACL earlier this week.

The 30-year-old exited during the first half to be evaluated for a concussion, and he was downgraded to out just before halftime. Kelemete will need to fully clear the concussion protocol to have a chance of playing next week at Cleveland. Brent Qvale is working at left guard in his place.

Kelemete is slated to sign a one-year extension with the Texans, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Kelemete, who is bouncing back from a wrist issue that slowed him in 2019, is now under contract with the team through 2021. Retaining the 30-year-old gives the Texans added depth and flexibility on their offensive line. Kelemete has experience playing every position up front other than left tackle.
