Titans vs. Colts score: Derrick Henry, Tennessee sweep season series vs. Indy for second consecutive season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Titans strengthened their hold on the AFC South as they defeated the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, 19-10. Tennessee jumped out to a 13-0 lead by the halftime break thanks to a 76-yard pick six thrown by Matt Ryan, and didn't look back.

Ryan Tannehill completed 13 of 20 passes for 132 yards. He suffered what appeared to be a lower leg injury on the first play of the fourth quarter, and was replaced by rookie Malik Willis for one play. Tannehill returned to the game, although he had a very obvious limp. Derrick Henry then took over on offense, and he finished with 128 rushing yards on 30 carries.

New Titans tight end Austin Hooper took "National Tight Ends Day" to heart, as he put together his best performance of the season, catching three passes for 56 yards. He made a wild bobbling catch in the fourth quarter that stole a challenge away from Colts head coach Frank Reich.

For Indy, the offense had a rough day. Ryan was under pressure constantly, and threw interceptions on back-to-back possessions in the second quarter. He finished completing 33 of 44 passes for 243 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Colts wideout Parris Campbell had himself a day, as he caught a career-high 10 passes for 70 yards and the Colts' lone touchdown. Star running back Jonathan Taylor on the other hand rushed just 10 times for 58 yards.

The Colts will return to Indianapolis next week, and host the Washington Commanders. As for the Titans, they will hit the road to take on another divisional rival in the Houston Texans.

Titans made the right decision to challenge the incomplete pass call, and Tennessee takes over on offense with 3:22 remaining. Colts have zero timeouts.

Here's that incredible Austin Hooper catch:

That looks like a fumble to me. I thought the receiver completed the catch, turned upfield and then lost it.

Austin Hooper with a catch you need to see to believe. Will find video shortly. Frank Reich is challenging the ruling on the field, but it appears he will lose.

Titans announce Jeffery Simmons is questionable to return with an ankle injury.

The Colts can only get three points after securing solid field position following the Tannehill fumble. 6 plays, 24 yards and the Titans defense again stands strong.

Simmons is now up and walking off the field without help.

Oh no. Jeffery Simmons is now down.

Ryan Tannehill fumbles trying to hand off to Malik Willis. Very weird play, but Tannehill clearly is still limping. Colts take over around the 50

Malik Willis gets a huge cheer from the crowd as he comes into the game. Tannehill looks OK.

Colts' Parris Campbell admits his career hasn't been what he's wanted, but says 'that's about to change'

Colts finally get on the board. Matt Ryan hits Parris Campbell for a four-yard touchdown on second and goal. That caps a 12-play, 58-yard drive. If you give Ryan time to throw, he's going to find the open guy. Best drive of the day for Indy. Let's see if the Titans can respond. Their second-half woes have been well-documented this season.

This Colts offense has absolutely nothing going for it. Can't tell if the Titans DBs are better than we thought, if the Colts offensive line isn't as good, if Matt Ryan isn't firing the ball when he should or a combination of different things.

Colts have to punt on their first drive of the second half. Six plays, 23 yards. They did pick up two first downs, however.

Sidenote: Colts P Matt Haack isn't having a great day.

The Titans are up 13-0, but their red zone struggles have definitely stood out. Tennessee was primed to go for it on fourth and 2 from Indy's five-yard line, but Radunz had a false start.

Derrick Henry was averaging just 2.3 yards per carry a moment ago. Then he pulled off a 23-yard run. Nissan Stadium was ready to explode.

Matt Ryan throws another pick! Pressure is really getting to him and nothing is open downfield. This time it was linebacker David Long.

Titans sent an all-out blitz on Ryan and he throws a pick six! Couldn't have gone better for the Titans D. They knew he was going to get the ball out quickly and Andrew Adams was ready.

Colts working through Taylor on this drive on the ground and through the air like I predicted. And it's working. 25 yards on three plays.

Titans answer the Colts punt with a punt of their own. Just five plays on that drive. Didn't even look like Tennessee attempted to convert that third and 10. Just an underneath pass to Haskins, the backup RB.

Derrick Henry recorded 10 touches in the first quarter.

Colts pick up their first first down of the game, but have to punt after just six plays. Matt Ryan is 5 of 7 for 17 yards. Running the ball has definitely been more successful for the Colts early on. Expect to see them rely on Taylor next drive, that's my guess.

The Titans are scoring a TD on 92.3% of their red zone possessions this season, easily the best in the NFL. The best mark in a single season dating back to 2000 is the 2020 Packers at 80.0%.

- In each of the last 3 seasons, the team that led the NFL in RZ TD PCT made the conference championship round (2019 Titans, 2020 Packers, 2021 49ers)

Titans are now in the red zone. Tannehill found Bobby Trees for a pickup of 13 yards to get to the 12-yard line. Titans absolutely rolling this drive.
