A matchup between two of the league's top young quarterbacks will highlight Day 1 of NFL Super Wild Card Weekend 2023 on Saturday. Justin Herbert of the Chargers is second in passing yards, while Jacksonville's Trevor Lawrence has been one of the NFL's best quarterbacks over the past nine games. Both will make their NFL playoff debuts in Saturday night's Chargers vs. Jaguars Wild Card matchup. The San Francisco 49ers host the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL Super Wild Card Weekend kickoff game. Herbert is the only quarterback favored to go over 1.5 touchdown passes in Caesars' NFL props on Saturday. Cashing in on NFL prop bets is about finding value. Top 2023 Super Wild Card Weekend NFL prop picks

One prop play that PropStarz loves for NFL Wild Card Saturday is Chargers running back  Austin Ekeler under 51.5 rushing yards against the Jaguars. The sixth-year pro has been a major part of L.A.'s offense, but he isn't a traditional running back, doing most of his damage in the passing game. In fact, when the Jaguars beat the Chargers 38-10 in Week 3, Ekeler had four carries for five yards. Jacksonville has a tough run defense, so Ekeler won't be counted on there.

"I expect Ekeler to be heavily utilized as a receiver in this game," PropStarz told SportsLine, and that should be the team's focus. The Jaguars allow 4.7 yards per carry, seventh-lowest in the NFL, and the Chargers average fewer than 90 rushing yards per game (30th). They are third in passing, while Jacksonville's pass defense is 28th, so Justin Herbert will carry the burden with help from Ekeler as a receiver. You can see the rest of his prop bet picks at SportsLine.
