Liam Robbins: Let go by New Orleans
Robbins (lower leg) was waived by the Pelicans on Thursday.
Robbins signed a training camp contract with the Pelicans at the end of September but suffered a stress reaction in his right fibula a few days later. It's unclear when he'll be back to full health, but he'll part ways with the club after New Orleans signed Jalen Crutcher on Thursday.

Robbins was diagnosed with a stress reaction in his right fibula Wednesday and is currently without a return timetable.
While it's unclear how much time Robbins will miss, it seems unlikely he will be able to suit up for the team's preseason opener against the Magic on Oct. 10. Robbins is currently on a training camp contract with the Pelicans.

Pelicans' Liam Robbins: Signs on for training camp
The Pelicans signed Robbins to a training camp contract Saturday.
Robbins went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft after averaging 15.0 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.2 blocks and 1.0 assists in his final season at Vanderbilt. If Robbins is unable to make the Pelicans' regular season roster, he will likely join the team's G League affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron.
