Victor Wembanyama stole the show with his impressive stat line in this blowout loss, but Castle was one of the few silver linings outside of the Frenchman, as he posted another impressive line. The rookie out of UConn has scored at least 20 points in three games in a row, which is his longest streak of the season, and he's recorded double-digit points in five of his seven January appearances so far.

The backcourt combination of Castle and Chris Paul is reaping benefits for the Spurs, as there is plenty of opportunity for both players to benefit. The 2024 first-round pick has made an immediate contribution and is a key piece responsible for the Spurs' surprising 10-8 record. The UConn product is expected to remain with the first unit for the foreseeable future.
