    The Warriors waived Johnson on Friday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

    Johnson's tenure with Golden State was extremely short-lived, as he signed an Exhibit 10 deal on Sep. 17 and was waived just three days later. He'll likely end up in the G League in 2024-25, either with the Santa Cruz Warriors or with another franchise.

  • Warriors' Javan Johnson: Joins Golden State for camp

    Johnson and the Warriors agreed to an Exhibit 10 contract Tuesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

    Johnson is familiar with the Warriors' organization after featuring for their G League affiliate in Santa Cruz last season. Johnson will be with Golden State for training camp, but he likely ends up back with Santa Cruz.

    Johnson signed a two-way contract with the Warriors on Thursday, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

    After stops at Troy and Iowa State, Johnson played his last two seasons at DePaul. Last year, as a full-time starter, he averaged 14.2 points on 43/41/77 shooting, 4.3 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 36.0 minutes.
