  • Furkan Korkmaz: Waived by Indiana

The Pacers will waive Korkmaz on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Korkmaz was acquired by the Pacers earlier Thursday in a three-team deal involving the 76ers and Spurs. Once he clears waivers, Korkmaz will be free to sign with a team of his choosing, and perhaps he'll be able to land a minimum-level deal somewhere as an end-of-bench player. However, it's unlikely that he'll have much fantasy value to close out the season.

  • Pacers' Furkan Korkmaz: Shipped to Indiana

The Pacers acquired Korkmaz, Marcus Morris (foot) and two second-round picks from the 76ers on Thursday in exchange for Buddy Hield, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Korkmaz is likely included in this trade package to match salary. The 26-year-old is averaging just 2.5 points in 8.6 minutes across 35 appearances this season. Korkmaz is unlikely to be a significant factor in Indiana's rotation.

  • 76ers' Furkan Korkmaz: Logs season-high 19 points

Korkmaz chipped in 19 points (6-8 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and three assists in 22 minutes during Tuesday's 119-107 loss to Golden State. Korkmaz got hot from deep, drilling five three-pointers in the loss. He as an unexpected beneficiary of Tyrese Maxey's (ankle) injury and Joel Embiid's (knee) early exit. Although the stat line was encouraging, we shouldn't expect similar results from Korkmaz unless the injury situation in Philly becomes systemic.

  • 76ers' Furkan Korkmaz: Good to go

Korkmaz (illness) isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's game against Atlanta. Korkmaz missed three straight games due to an illness but practiced Monday and Tuesday and will be available Wednesday. However, he's a fringe rotation player, so his availability shouldn't impact much.

Korkmaz (illness) was able to practice Monday, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Korkmaz has missed the past three games for the 76ers, but it sounds like he could be back in time for Wednesday's game against Atlanta. He's a fringe rotation player, however, so his status doesn't carry many fantasy implications.

  • 76ers' Furkan Korkmaz: Fails to score in win

Korkmaz finished Saturday's 135-82 win over the Hornets with one assist in four minutes. Korkmaz played fewer than 10 minutes for the 19th consecutive game. The sample size thus far tells us everything we need to know about how underwhelming Korkmaz has been. Given he has scored a total of 36 points in almost two months, managers can safely avoid him in all formats.

  • 76ers' Furkan Korkmaz: Solid production as reserve

Korkmaz totaled 10 points (4-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), one rebound and three steals over 22 minutes during Thursday's 114-99 victory over Toronto. Korkmaz reportedly requested to be included in the James Harden trade, but Philadelphia wanted to retain the sharpshooter. Korkmaz played just 9.5 minutes per game last year, his fewest since his rookie campaign, and he didn't see any playing time during the first two games of this season. However, he saw his first extended action Thursday and showed what he's capable of when given a chance. With the Harden saga in the rearview mirror, the 76ers may opt to give Korkmaz more minutes moving forward, but he could quickly fall back down the depth chart when Kenyon Martin, Marcus Morris and Nicolas Batum (personal) get acclimated with Philadelphia's system.
