  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Will return to Sacramento

Lyles and the Kings agreed on a two-year deal Friday, James Ham of ESPN 1320 Sacramento reports.

Lyles was a solid reserve for the Kings last year, averaging 7.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 16.9 minutes across 74 appearances. He'll presumably garner a similar reserve role behind Keegan Murray and Domantas Sabonis for the next two years.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Limited in Game 4 loss

Lyles produced five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and two assists over 12 minutes during Sunday's 126-125 loss to the Warriors in Game 4 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Lyles was a non-factor in the loss, managing just five points in 12 minutes. The Kings basically went with a 7-man rotation for this one, calling on both Lyles and Alex Len for some sporadic backup minutes. With the series tied at 2-2, the teams will head back to Sacramento for Game 5. Based on what we have seen to this point, the winner of that game could very well go on to win the series.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Near double-double off bench

Lyles ended Friday's 119-97 loss to the Warriors with 15 points (6-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist and one block in 22 minutes.

With Sacramento resting the majority of its regulars, Lyles attempted his most shots since Nov. 15 and notched his highest-scoring outing since March 9. He also finished second on the team in rebounds with eight, falling two short of his second double-double this season.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Good to go Friday

Lyles (shoulder) is good to go for Friday against the Warriors, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports.

Lyles has been held to minutes in the teens in his previous four games, but he's likely to see extended run Friday night with the Kings missing Domantas Sabonis (ankle, rest). There is a possibility that the Kings will rest their key players in the season finale on Sunday as well.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Status in question for Friday

Lyles (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Friday's contest against the Warriors, John Dickinson of 95.7 The Game San Francisco reports.

Lyles could miss his ninth game of the season Friday if the Kings elect to rest a majority of their rotation players as they gear up for the playoffs. Expect Kessler Edwards and Chimezie Metu to see increased minutes if Lyles doesn't play against the Warriors.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Drops a dud Tuesday

Lyles ended with zero points (0-4 FG, 0-4 3Pt) and three rebounds in 13 minutes during Tuesday's 121-103 win over the Pelicans.

Lyles put up another stinker Tuesday, the most recent in a long line of underwhelming performances. He has scored double-digits only once in the past nine games, sitting well outside the top 150 over that period. While he is a regular part of the rotation, he is typically only given the opportunity to produce when the game is out of hand. Based on that fact, he should not be viewed as a fantasy option.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Grabs season-high 11 boards

Lyles totaled five points (1-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds and two steals over 22 minutes during Monday's 119-115 loss to the Timberwolves.

Lyles struggled offensively again, but he salvaged his production by grabbing a team- and season-high 11 boards. He also recorded multiple steals for just the fifth time during the campaign. However, despite his solid defensive outing, Lyles is still on the outskirts of fantasy relevancy due to his poor offensive production.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Scoreless across 10 minutes

Lyles finished with zero points (0-1 FG, 0-1 3Pt), five rebounds and one block across 10 minutes during Tuesday's 132-109 loss to the Celtics.

Lyles played his fewest minutes since Feb. 10 and was held scoreless for the ninth time this season. The backup forward recorded at least 10 points and four rebounds in five straight games to start March, but he's averaged just 5.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists over his past four appearances.

  • Kings' Trey Lyles: Available to play

Lyles (shoulder) will be available to play Monday against the Jazz.

Lyles is back after a one-game absence, which will likely result in fewer minutes for Kessler Edwards and Chimezie Metu. Lyles has been averaging 21.5 minutes over the past few weeks with averages of 12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 triples, 2.0 assists and 1.4 turnovers per game.
