Stauskas signed a G League deal with Iowa this offseason, joining the Wolves with six years of NBA experience. Stauskas brings plenty of experience to the Wolves this season, most recently appearing in eight NBA games with Miami and Boston in 2021-22. During his six-year career, Stauskas has averaged 5.5 points and 1.5 rebounds at the NBA level.... See More ... See Less

Timberwolves' Nik Stauskas: Signs with Minnesota
The Timberwolves and Stauskas agreed to a contract on Thursday, Dane Moore of BringMeTheNews.com reports. After getting dealt to the Pacers in July and being waived a couple of weeks later, the guard is getting a chance with the Timberwolves. Minnesota will have Stauskas' G League rights, and he'll participate in the team's training camp with an outside chance of making the parent club's roster.... See More ... See Less -
Nik Stauskas: Waived by Indiana
Stauskas was waived by the Pacers on Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Stauskas is having his contract stretched to make room for the offer sheet for Deandre Ayton. The guard will be free to join any other team, except Boston, in free agency. In 39 total minutes last season between the Heat and Celtics, Stauskas racked up 18 points, three rebounds and two assists.... See More ... See Less -
Pacers' Nik Stauskas: Traded to Indiana
Stauskas was traded from the Celtics to the Pacers on Friday along with four other players and a 2023 first-round pick in exchange for Malcolm Brogdon, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Stauskas wasn't a part of Boston's rotation after being promoted from the G League last season, appearing in eight games and averaging 2.3 points in just 4.9 minutes per contest. He'll have an opportunity to earn a bigger role in Indiana, although it will probably be difficult to crack the rotation given the team's depth in the backcourt.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Suffers garbage time injury
Stauskas appeared to suffer a lower leg injury in the final minutes of the Celtics' Game 2 win over the Heat on Thursday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Stauskas saw four minutes of action in the fourth quarter before hobbling off the court with a leg injury. The guard left Game 2 with three points, two assists and one rebound. Stauskas' injury won't have any impact on Boston's rotation going forward.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Plays garbage time minutes
Stauskas logged zero statistics across two minutes of court time Tuesday in the Celtics' 109-86 win over the Bucks in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference semifinals series. Stauskas has seen garbage time run in both of the first two games of the series in what marked the first playoff appearances of his professional career since entering the NBA as a lottery selection in 2014. The 28-year-old had previously been sidelined at the end of regular season with an ankle sprain, but he was fully cleared in advance of the Celtics' first-round series sweep of the Nets.... Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Off injury report
Stauskas (ankle) is off the injury report for Sunday's Game 1 against the Nets, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Stauskas last played March 23, and he dealt with an ankle injury to end the regular season. Even while he's available, he's not expected to be a meaningful part of the rotation.... See More ... Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Out again Thursday
Stauskas (ankle) remains out Thursday against the Bucks. Stauskas continues to battle a sprained right ankle, but he's not a part of the regular rotation so his absence won't have any real fantasy implications.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Missing third straight game
Stauskas is listed as out for Wednesday's game against the Bulls with a right ankle sprain. He'll be sidelined for the third game in a row with the injury, which he more than likely picked up during his time with the G League's Maine Celtics. Since signing with Boston on March 3, Stauskas has made only six appearances for the parent club, playing no more than five minutes on any occasion.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Goes back to G League
Stauskas was assigned to the G League's Maine Celtics on Saturday. Stauskas made his debut with Maine on Tuesday but was subsequently called up to Boston for the team's win over Utah on Wednesday. He scored three points in three minutes in that game and will now be headed back to Maine. Stauskas signed a two-year contract with Boston in early March.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Bad shot efficiency during debut
Stauskas logged 11 points (5-16 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds and one assist across 30 minutes during Tuesday's 136-127 loss to the College Park Skyhawks. Stauskas missed more than two-thirds of the shots he attempted during his Maine Celtics debut Tuesday. The guard will be a backup and a potential replacement for Brodric Thomas.... See More ... Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Heads to G League
Stauskas was assigned to the G League's Maine Celtics on Tuesday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Stauskas, who signed a two-year contract with the Celtics at the beginning of March, has totaled just 12 minutes of action across Boston's last nine contests. He'll presumably get extended run during his stint in the G League.... See More ... See Less -
Celtics' Nik Stauskas: Inks two-year deal with Boston
The Celtics are signing Stauskas to a two-year deal, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Stauskas will join the Celtics coming off a dominant week playing with Grand Rapids in the G League. The guard scored 100 points in back-to-back games. With the Celtics, Stauskas will likely fill a reserve role off the bench behind Payton Pritchard.... See More ... See Less -
Nik Stauskas: Scores 100 points over two games
Stauskas finished with 43 points (16-21 FG, 9-13 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal Wednesday in the G League Grand Rapids Gold's 124-119 win over the Lakeland Magic. On the 60th anniversary of Wilt Chamberlain's famous 100-point game, Stauskas matched the NBA legend's feat, albeit over the course of two games while facing off against G League competition. Still, Stauskas' spectacular encore performance following Tuesday's 57-point effort in a win over the Wisconsin Herd could attract attention from NBA teams who may be looking to fill out the back end of their rosters with a perimeter shooter. Before rejoining Grand Rapids in early January, Stauskas made a pair of appearances for the Heat earlier this season while the team was decimated by COVID-19-related absences. The two outings with the Heat marked the 28-year-old's first NBA action since the 2018-19 season.... See More ... See Less -
Nik Stauskas: Goes off for 57 points in G League
Stauskas exploded for 57 points (20-29 FG, 11-15 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds and five assists across 43 minutes Tuesday in the G League Grand Rapids Gold's 131-127 win over the Wisconsin Herd. The veteran wing certainly seemed to benefit from Isaiah Thomas getting called up to the Hornets on a 10-day deal, as Stauskas was the clear No. 1 option for the Gold on Tuesday. The Michigan product set a new career high in scoring while carrying Grand Rapids to a narrow victory. If Stauskas can string together a few performances of big scoring on efficient shooting, he could improve his chances of resurfacing in the NBA before the end of the season.... See More ... Nik Stauskas: Solid in win
Stauskas finished with 23 points (8-16 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds and five assists over 39 minutes during Thursday's 129-118 win over Maine. The Michigan product was one of three Grand Rapids' players to record over 20 points in Thursday's win. Stauskas continues to be one of the Gold's most consistent offensive players as the season continues to trudge along.... See More ... See Less -
Nik Stauskas: Decent despite rough shooting
Stauskas finished with 22 points (8-21 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, seven assists and two steals over 43 minutes during Wednesday's 117-116 loss to Windy City. Even with the addition of Isaiah Thomas back the Gold lineup, Stauskas was able to top 20 points in Grand Rapids' loss. However, the Michigan product hit just two of his 10 attempts from deep. It will be interesting to see how Statuskas and Thomas continue to perform as the veterans of this Gold team.... See More ... See Less -
Nik Stauskas: Keeps producing despite loss
Stauskas ended with 30 points (11-21 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) six rebounds, two assists and three steals over 40 minutes during Wednesday's 115-102 loss to Long Island. The veteran wing has now reached 30 points in two out of his last three outings. However, Grand Rapids has lost each of those contests. Stauskas certainly is entering the All-Star break on a high note and will look to build off this performance when the season resumes.... See More ... See Less -
Nik Stauskas: Nears triple-double
Stauskas finished with 22 points (6-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT), seven rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 40 minutes during Friday's 117-114 loss to the Go-Go. The Michigan product has been an effective scorer for Grand Rapids all season, but Friday's performance marked one of his better all-around outings. Stauskas has spent some time in the NBA this season, and performances like these bode well for his chances of getting called up again.... See More ... See Less -
Nik Stauskas: Drops 30 points in loss
Stauskas finished with 30 points (11-17 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds and four assists over 37 minutes during Sunday's 111-97 win over Maine. The Michigan product went off, leading his team in scoring during Sunday's victory. Stauskas got off to a hot start earlier this season in the G League, but this was easily his best game since rejoining Grand Rapids after a short stint with the Heat. The wing will look to build off this performance moving forward.... See More ... See Less
