  • Semi Ojeleye: Inks deal in Italy

Ojeleye has signed a contract with Virtus in Italy, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Ojeleye saw action with the Bucks and Clippers last season but failed to make an impact. He should see more playing time and have an opportunity to rehabilitate his value overseas.

  • Semi Ojeleye: Set to be waived

Ojeleye is being waived by the Clippers to open up a roster spot for the conversion of Amir Coffey's two-way contract to a standard NBA contract, Andrew Greif of the Los Angeles Times reports. Ojeleye was part of a four-team trade in February, landing with the Clippers after beginning the season with Milwaukee. He averaged fewer than 10 minutes per contest in his 10 appearances with Los Angeles but showed marked improvement from the field in route to 4.1 points per game. Unfortunately, he didn't do enough to maintain his roster spot, which will now go to Coffey.

  • Clippers' Semi Ojeleye: Tallies season-high point total

Ojeleye finished Friday's 121-92 loss to the Jazz with 13 points (3-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, one assist and two steals across 24 minutes. The Clippers trailed by 37 at halftime and got little production from their starters, giving players like Ojeleye more opportunities than usual. The fifth-year forward logged his most minutes as a Clipper and finished with his highest scoring output of the season, finishing with double-digit points for just the second time. Ojeleye put forth tepid production even when regularly playing 20-30 minutes for Milwaukee earlier this season, so there's little reason to expect this solid effort to lead to sudden fantasy relevance.

  • Clippers' Semi Ojeleye: Sees sizable run

Ojeleye provided nine points (3-4 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 20 minutes during Monday's 120-111 overtime loss to the Cavaliers. Ojeleye had easily his best game since getting dealt to the Clippers at the trade deadline. He combined for just 28 minutes over his last four games. Robert Convington (personal) being inactive could be a partial explanation, but it'll be worth monitoring the role Ojeleye will settle into going forward.

  • Clippers' Semi Ojeleye: Available Monday

Ojeleye (recently traded) isn't listed on the official injury report and should be available for Monday's game against the Warriors. Though Ojeleye is on track to be in uniform Monday, he'll likely find himself outside of the Clippers' rotation, as was typically the case during his time in Milwaukee earlier this season. The fifth-year forward has made only 20 appearances on the season, averaging 2.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15.4 minutes.

  • Clippers' Semi Ojeleye: Won't play Saturday

Ojeleye (recently traded) won't play Saturday against the Mavericks, Law Murray of The Athletic reports. Ojeleye was traded from the Bucks to the Clippers on Thursday but won't be able to join the team for its road matchup against Dallas. The 27-year-old will have another chance to make his debut at home against the Warriors on Monday.

  • Clippers' Semi Ojeleye: Routed to Clippers

Ojeleye was traded to the Clippers in a four-team deal Thursday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Clippers also received Semi Ojeleye. The Kings got Donte DiVincenzo, Trey Lyles and Josh Jackson. The Bucks acquired Serge Ibaka, two future second-round picks and cash. The Pistons got Marvin Bagley. Ojeleye is a throw-in from the Bucks to acquire Ibaka, as the former had fallen out of the rotation. Ojeleye hasn't seen double-digit minutes since Jan. 8, and the last time he appeared in three consecutive games was late December. He's unlikely to occupy a bigger role with the Clippers.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Drops out of rotation

Ojeleye (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Monday in the Bucks' 103-99 loss to the Hornets. The returns of Donte DiVincenzo (ankle) and Pat Connaughton (COVID-19 health and safety protocols) were enough to bump Ojeleye out of the rotation. The veteran forward had logged double-digit minutes in both of the past two games, in what marked his first appearances since Dec. 23 following a stint in the protocols. Now that the Bucks are inching closer to full strength, Ojeleye appears unlikely to play in most competitive contests.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Cleared to play

Ojeleye (COVID-19 protocols) is available Wednesday against the Raptors, Stephen Watson of WISN12 News reports. Ojeleye has been a fringe rotation option all season, but he could see action with the Bucks down six players. In his 14 appearances, he's averaged 3.2 points and 3.9 rebounds in 18.7 minutes.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Questionable Wednesday

Ojeleye (COVID-19 protocols) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Raptors. Ojeleye is a fringe part of the Bucks' rotation. Even if available, he might not see the court.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Available Saturday

Ojeleye (calf) is available for Saturday's matchup against the Cavaliers. Ojeleye will make his return following a 15-game absence due to a strained calf. We should expect him to see limited time, though any minutes he can provide will be helpful given how shorthanded the Bucks are. In his 11 appearances this season, he's averaged 3.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 19.8 minutes.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Expected to return Saturday

Ojeleye (calf) is probable to make his return Saturday against the Cavaliers, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Ojeleye was without a timetable for a return earlier this week, but he's apparently made good progress lately and should take the court Saturday. We should expect him to see limited time, though any minutes he can provide will be helpful given how shorthanded the Bucks are. In his 11 appearances this season, he's averaged 3.0 points and 3.6 rebounds in 19.8 minutes.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: No timeline for return

Coach Mike Budenholzer said Ojeleye (calf) is progressing well in his recovery, though there's no official return timeline, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. The team announced Ojeleye would be re-evaluated in three weeks after suffering the calf injury in late November, though there's was no real update now that those three weeks have passed. The 27-year-old should continue to be considered out indefinitely until his status is updated.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Facing extended absence

Coach Mike Budenholzer said Monday that Ojeleye (calf) is dealing with a significant injury and is "going to miss some time," Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Ojeleye missed Saturday's contest and was already ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Magic, and it appears he won't be taking the court anytime soon. The team put out an official update ruling the 26-year-old out for at least the next three weeks, at which point he'll be re-evaluated.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Ruled out Monday

Ojeleye (calf) will not play Monday against Orlando. A strained calf will keep Ojeleye out of a second straight contest as the Bucks begin a four-game Week 6. The offseason acquisition has struggled to find his footing in Milwaukee thus far, averaging only 3.0 points on 25.5 percent shooting through his first 11 appearances. After hitting 36.4 percent of his three-point attempts in Boston last season, Ojeleye is just 6-of-28 from deep to begin 2021-22.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Ruled out Saturday

Ojeleye (calf) is sidelined Saturday against the Magic, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Ojeleye will miss his first game since Oct. 31. In his absence, Jordan Nwora and Thanasis Antetokounmpo could see more minutes.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Considered questionable

Ojeleye is listed as questionable for Saturday's matchup with the Magic due to right calf soreness. Ojeleye presumably picked up the injury in Friday's victory over the Thunder. If he ends up sitting out, Thanasis Antetokounmpo and Jordan Nwora would be candidates to see some extra minutes off the bench.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Resting Sunday

Ojeleye is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Jazz due to return to competition reconditioning. He'll join Brook Lopez (back), Jrue Holiday (ankle) and Donte DiVincenzo (ankle) in street clothes, but unlike those three starters, Ojeleye's absence simply looks to be maintenance-related rather than due to a setback in his recovery from the calf injury that sidelined him earlier this season. Ojeleye appeared in both of the Bucks' last two games, logging zero points (0-10 FG, 0-10 3Pt, 0-2 FT), four rebounds and one steal in 25 minutes between those contests.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Cleared to debut Wednesday

Ojeleye (calf) is available Wednesday against the Timberwolves, Scott Grodsky of CBS 58 reports. Ojeleye has yet to debut for his new team due to a calf injury, but that is expected to change Wednesday. Bobby Portis (hamstring) is also expected to make his season debut.

  • Bucks' Semi Ojeleye: Likely available Wednesday

Ojeleye (calf) is probable for Wednesday's game versus Minnesota, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reports. Ojeleye has been sidelined for the first four games of the year with the calf strain, but he's expected to make his debut with the Bucks on Wednesday. The 26-year-old should be a bench piece for Milwaukee and could see increased run early on with Jrue Holiday (ankle) and Brook Lopez (back) sitting out.
