Jeremy Evans: Heads overseas
Evans signed a contract with Turkish club Darussafaka on Tuesday, Sportando.com reports.
Evans, who was selected in the late second round of the 2010 NBA Draft, played just one game for the Hawks last season. This season will mark his second time playing outside of America, as he was a member of Khimki in the VTB United League during the 2016-17 campaign. There, he saw 13.5 minutes per game in six appearances, averaging 6.3 points and 5.2 rebounds.

Hawks' Jeremy Evans: Recalled from G-League
Evans was recalled from the G-League's Erie BayHawks on Saturday, Michael Cunningham of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The BayHawks were eliminated from the playoffs Friday night, so Evans, along with three other players, have been recalled from the G-League. He'll presumably remain with the Hawks for the remaining two games of the regular season.

Hawks' Jeremy Evans: Headed back to Erie
Evans was assigned back to the G-League on Thursday, KL Chouinard of the Hawks' official site reports.
Evans was recalled from Erie for Thursday's game against the Heat, but he ended up playing just five minutes off the bench. Evans now re-joins the G-League affiliate a day before the team takes on Raptors 905 in the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday.

Evans, who just signed a 10-day contract with the Hawks over the weekend, will be sent to the G-League's BayHawks in order to aid in their playoff run. He should be recalled in short order, though Evans likely isn't going to see significant minutes over the final few games of the season for the Hawks, so avoid him for fantasy purposes.

Hawks' Jeremy Evans: Inks 10-day deal with Atlanta
Evans has agreed to a 10-day contract with the Hawks, Ian Begley of ESPN.com reports.
Evans most recently saw NBA action when he played 30 games with the Mavericks back in 2015-16, averaging 2.4 points and 1.8 rebounds across 8.4 minutes. After that, he spent a year in Russia playing professionally. This season, after being waived by the Hawks during training camp, he accepted a deal with the team's G-League affiliate, the Erie BayHawks. There, he's averaged 15.3 points, 9.9 rebounds and 1.3 blocks across 30.7 minutes. He's also been developing a three-point shot after going just 6-for-26 (23.1 percent) through his 249 NBA games. In the G-League, he's taking 2.4 attempts from beyond the arc and making them at a 31.2 percent clip.

This was Evans' seventh consecutive game with a double-double while cruising past the 25-point mark Thursday. Evans amassed 17 points (7-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and one steal during Friday's 114-108 victory over the Red Claws.

Evans has been out of the league since the 2015-16 season, after playing five years with the Jazz and one with the Mavericks. Most recently, he spent a brief period of time with BC Khimki of the Russion VTB United League, where he averaged 5.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 block across 12.4 minutes. He'll now return Stateside to join the Hawks, though his contract is not expected to be guaranteed and he'll have to have to have an impressive showing in the preseason to make the final roster.

Jeremy Evans: Signs contract with Russian club
Evans signed a contract Friday with BC Khimki of the Russian VTB United League, international basketball writer David Pick reports.
After being let go by the Pacers in final roster cuts following the conclusion of the preseason, Evans will forgo joining the D-League and instead opt for greater financial security by heading overseas. If Evans enjoys a productive season abroad, he could be brought in for a look by an NBA team in training camp next fall.

As anticipated, the Pacers limited Evans in his preseason debut, which had been delayed while he recovered from a surgically-repaired right shoulder. Evans should see more opportunities as the preseason schedule unfolds and new coach Nate McMillan looks to see what he has with the athletic big man, but he won't be a member of the rotation once the regular season opens.

Pacers' Jeremy Evans: Ruled out versus Bulls
Evans (shoulder) has been ruled out of Thursday's preseason matchup with the Bulls, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Evans was practicing in full Wednesday after opening up training camp as a limited participant, but evidently still needs more time to build up to 100 percent health. Coach Nate McMillan indicated earlier in camp that he wasn't sure Evans would be ready for the start of the regular season, but it appears that the big man is progressing better than anticipated. Evans isn't expected to open the season as a rotation player.
