NBA: Sacramento Kings at San Antonio Spurs
Daniel Dunn / USA TODAY Sports

After losing four of their last five games, the Atlanta Hawks flipped the script on Wednesday at Phoenix with a 32-point win over Chris Paul and the Suns. Dejounte Murray scored 21 points, which followed a 40-point effort in his previous start versus Damian Lillard and Portland on Monday. Murray has been remarkable over the team's last six road games, so should you consider him a lock for NBA DFS lineups when Atlanta continues its West Coast swing on Friday at Utah?

Over those last six road starts, Murray has hit 54.2% of his shots, and in his last two games, he's gone 9-for-15 from beyond the 3-point line. Another name to consider in the NBA DFS player pool is Hawks forward De'Andre Hunter, who scored 22 points against the Jazz when the two teams met earlier this season. On Thursday, he highlighted Heat guard Tyler Herro as one of his top NBA DFS picks on DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Herro scored 25 points to go with eight assists and five rebounds to return 47.75 points on DraftKings and 46 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Friday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Friday, February 3

One of McClure's top NBA DFS picks for Friday is Kings center Domantas Sabonis who is listed at $10,100 on DraftKings and $9,900 on FanDuel. Sabonis scored 34 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in his last start against the Spurs on Wednesday. He's been on fire over his last three games, as he's shot 72.1% from the field, and he's made two blocks in each of his last two starts.

Sacramento takes on the Indiana Pacers on Friday, who allow the sixth-most points to opposing centers per game (23.94 ppg). Sabonis only scored 11 points against his former team when he faced them earlier this season, but he also finished with 10 rebounds, seven assists and a steal. He should be poised to improve on those scoring numbers on Friday, after the Pacers have allowed opponents to score 61.3 points in the paint over their last three games.

Another part of McClure's optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Hornets forward Jalen McDaniels ($4,700 on DraftKings, $5,000 on FanDuel). McDaniels is coming off of a scoreless performance in his last game against Chicago on Thursday, but he should take the opportunity to bounce back at Detroit on Friday. Oft-injured Gordon Hayward (shoulder/hamstring) may not play in the second game of Charlotte's back-to-back and also had an underwhelming 2-for-10 shooting performance against the Bulls in his last start.

With Hayward in line to get the night off or play in a reduced capacity, and with Kelly Oubre Jr. (hand) already out, McDaniels should see an expanded role in the offense. When Charlotte last played the Pistons on December 14, he came off the bench to score 21 points and grab six rebounds. Although McDaniels' 3-point shooting has been inconsistent this year, the Pistons have allowed opponents to hit 38.6% of their attempts from downtown when they have been the home side this season.
