Boswell (ankle) signed a minor-league contract with the Rockies on Sunday that includes an invitation to major-league camp, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.
Boswell was cut by the Rockies last May after being designated for assignment but is back with the organization for 2022. The 27-year-old has yet to make his big-league debut and last saw game action in 2019, when he hit .219/.290/.397 with 15 homers and 39 RBI at the Double-A level.

The 2017 eighth-round pick hadn't appeared in any games for Double-A Hartford since being assigned to the affiliate in early May at the conclusion of minor-league spring training. Boswell previously spent the entire 2019 campaign with Hartford, slashing .219/.290/.397 with 15 home runs in 404 plate appearances. He'll remain in the Colorado organization if none of MLB's other 29 teams put in a waiver claim for the 26-year-old.
