    Huang was reassigned to minor-league camp by the Pirates on Tuesday. Huang was selected in the minor-league portion of the Rule 5 Draft by the Pirates in December. The right-hander made 23 appearances -- 13 of those starts -- for Triple-A Sacramento with a 4.40 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 89:31 K:BB across 71.2 innings. He provides depth for the pitching staff but will need to be added to the 40-man roster to help Pittsburgh in 2023.

  • Giants' Wei-Chieh Huang: Gets deal with Giants

    The Giants signed Huang to a minor-league contract Tuesday. Huang will return to affiliated ball in 2022 after he didn't pitch last season following his release from the Rangers organization in 2020.
