Navarro hasn't appeared in the majors since 2015, spending each of the previous two seasons with the Angels' minor-league affiliates. Navarro has only 10 MLB games under his belt but will have the chance for extended time on the 25-man roster with Simmons expected to miss a good portion of time off the diamond.     Among the flurry of moves made Friday by the Orioles were the promotion of infielder Rey Navarro and left-handed reliever Cesar Cabral from Triple-A Norfolk and the demotion of catcher Steve Clevenger and pitcher Mike Wright to the same team.
