McLeod notched two assists and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 5-1 win over the Golden Knights. McLeod has a pair of two-assist games over his last three outings, but that's all of his offense in the last 10 games. The 24-year-old set up tallies by Cody Ceci and Mattias Ekholm in this contest. McLeod has 30 points, 98 shots on net, 64 hits and a plus-14 rating through 76 appearances this season, mainly in a third-line role.... See More ... See Less

Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Contributes two assists
McLeod notched two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 6-2 win over the Avalanche. McLeod ended a seven-game point drought in this contest. He set up both of Evander Kane's goals, giving the Oilers some rare scoring depth from the third line. McLeod has been streaky this season, earning 28 points, 98 shots on net, 63 hits and a plus-12 rating over a career-high 74 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Sets career high in goals
McLeod scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 8-3 win over the Sabres. McLeod's tally was his career-high 12th of the campaign, which gave the Oilers a 7-3 lead late in the third period. The 24-year-old forward has six points over 10 outings in March, a run of production that's allowed him to see some second-line usage. He's up to 26 points, 89 shots on net, 56 hits and a plus-15 rating through 66 outings overall.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Gathers helper in win
McLeod recorded an assist and two PIM in Wednesday's 7-2 win over the Capitals. McLeod saw just 10:42 of ice time in the contest, the lowest among the Oilers' forwards. There was no report of an injury, so his usage is concerning since he started the game on the second line. The 24-year-old has moved around the lineup a lot amid an inconsistent campaign, though he has five points over his last six outings. Overall, McLeod is at 25 points, 85 shots on net, 53 hits and a plus-14 rating through 63 outings. He's played best when on the second line, but getting back in that role with Adam Henrique around is going to be a challenge for McLeod.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Two points in Buffalo
McLeod produced an even-strength goal and a shorthanded assist in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres. The 24-year-old opened the scoring early in the first period before setting up Warren Foegele for a tally later in the frame, but it was all the offense the Oilers could muster. McLeod has 24 points (11 goals, 13 assists) on the season, a new career high, and he could have some short-term upside if he continues skating on a line with Leon Draisaitl at 5-on-5.... See More ... Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Goal, assist in win
McLeod scored a goal, added an assist, doled out two hits and went plus-2 in Sunday's 6-1 win over the Penguins. McLeod had gone 16 games without a goal, logging just a single assist in that span. The 24-year-old center has 22 points in 58 contests this season, a nearly identical level of production to last year (23 points in 57 outings). McLeod has added 79 shots on net, 52 hits and a plus-12 rating while mainly playing on the third line.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Hands out helper
McLeod notched an assist and went plus-3 in Monday's 6-3 win over the Coyotes. McLeod ended his nine-game point drought when he set up the second of Evander Kane's two goals in the third period. The 24-year-old McLeod found some success on Leon Draisaitl's wing in December and January, but that hasn't translated to the Ontario native being able to drive play on his own line. McLeod has 20 points, 68 shots on net, 42 hits and a plus-12 rating through 51 outings this season, and he likely peaks as a supplementary scorer in the Oilers' lineup.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Opens scoring
McLeod found the back of the net in Saturday's 3-1 win over Calgary. The speedy McLeod rushed up the right boards and received a one-touch pass from Warren Foegele for a breakaway that he finished with a shot over the glove of Dan Vladar. It was a huge momentum shift for the Oilers, as Vladar had already stopped nine straight shots, most of them being Grade-A shots. McLeod is back to centering his own line with Derek Ryan and Mattias Janmark while playing strong minutes on the penalty kill.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Two points in return
McLeod notched a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Maple Leafs. After missing Edmonton's last game with an illness, McLeod returned with a multi-point performance Tuesday, assisting on Derek Ryan's tally early in the third period before scoring the eventual game-winner later in the frame, beating Martin Jones with a wrister through traffic. After a sluggish start to the year, the 24-year-old McLeod has six goals and 11 points in his last 10 contests. He's up to 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) through 40 games, just three shy of his career high set last season.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Ready to rock
McLeod (illness) is expected to be back in the lineup Tuesday against Toronto. McLeod is projected to center the third line after missing Saturday's 2-1 overtime win over Montreal. He has produced seven goals, 16 points, 55 shots on net and 30 hits across 38 outings this season.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Not playing Saturday
McLeod (illness) won't play Saturday versus the Canadiens, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports. McLeod was absent from Saturday's morning skate and will miss a game after being labeled a game-time decision. The 24-year-old's absence likely means Evander Kane will get back into a top-six role, while defenseman Philip Kemp will make his NHL debut as the Oilers opt for seven defensemen. McLeod's next chance to play is Tuesday versus the Maple Leafs.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Game-time call Saturday
McLeod (illness) will be a game-time call Saturday versus Montreal, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports. McLeod didn't take part in morning skate Saturday, but coach Kris Knoblauch expects the 24-year-old forward to warm up prior to Edmonton's matchup against the Canadiens. McLeod has seven goals and 16 points in 38 games this season. If he can't suit up, Sam Gagner would likely slot back into the lineup.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Collects helper
McLeod recorded an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Blackhawks. McLeod set up Leon Draisaitl's first-period tally. With five goals and four assists over his last eight games, McLeod has gone from unlucky to just plain good while seeing second-line minutes. The 24-year-old, a natural center, has been on the wing next to Draisaitl lately. McLeod has 16 points, 51 shots on net, 30 hits and a plus-7 rating through 37 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Another two-point game
McLeod tallied a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-2 win over Anaheim. McLeod opened the scoring 4:15 into the first period, burying a net-front feed from Warren Foegele, before returning the favor with an assist on Foegele's tally in the second. It's McLeod's third multi-point effort in his last five contests -- he has five goals and three assists in that span. Overall, the 24-year-old forward has seven goals and 15 points through 34 games this season, though he's found success since moving up to Edmonton's second line alongside Foegele and Leon Draisaitl.... Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Scores twice in win
McLeod scored a pair of goals in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Devils. McLeod put Edmonton ahead 1-0 just 24 seconds into the game before capping the scoring in the third, beating Vitek Vanecek with a wrist shot after forcing an offensive-zone turnover. It's just the second multi-point game for McLeod this year -- he'd gone scoreless in his previous six contests. The 24-year-old center now has four goals and nine points through 30 games in a bottom-six role.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Scores early in win
McLeod scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Hurricanes. McLeod has gone from no goals to two goals in rapid fashion. The 24-year-old has five points over his last seven outings as the bounces have started to go his way more often. He remains in a third-line role, which isn't an ideal situation even as the Oilers have found more consistency on offense. McLeod has seven points, 33 shots on net, 18 hits and a minus-2 rating through 23 appearances.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Snags another helper
McLeod logged a shorthanded assist and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Hurricanes. McLeod has points in consecutive games for the first time this season. The 24-year-old center has collected all four of his assists this season in November. He's added 23 shots on net, 15 hits and a minus-4 rating through 18 contests. McLeod had 23 points in 57 outings last season, including three shorthanded points.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Generates assist Monday
McLeod recorded an assist in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Panthers. McLeod earned a helper on Evander Kane's first-period tally. The 24-year-old McLeod has recorded all three of his assists this season over the last eight games. He remains in a bottom-six role, averaging 14:58 of ice time per contest. The center has picked up 21 shots on net, 15 hits, four PIM and a minus-4 rating over 17 outings.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Offers helper in win
McLeod recorded an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Kraken. McLeod had a shot carom off the glass and bounce to Dylan Holloway, who was left open next to the net. The helper was McLeod's second point through 13 contests this season, both of which have come over his last four games. He's added 14 shots on net, 13 hits and a minus-3 rating on the year. He primarily receives bottom-six assignments, though McLeod had a few top-six shifts in Saturday's win.... See More ... See Less -
Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Grabs first point in loss
McLeod logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two PIM in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Predators. McLeod missed most of training camp with an undisclosed injury, but he was in the lineup from the start of the regular season. His assist Saturday was his first point in 10 contests. The center has mainly played in a middle-six role while seeing some power-play time on the second unit. He's added 10 shots on net, nine hits, a minus-4 rating and two PIM so far, but he'll need to show a lot more on offense to enter the conversation in most fantasy formats.... See More ... See Less
