  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Delivers helper in shutout

Goodrow notched an assist in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Blues. Goodrow's helper took place in a 5-on-5 setting, but he actually saw a season-high 33 seconds of power-play ice time in this one. The Blueshirts were in full control of the game, so they could afford to experiment in the home tilt, especially since fellow pivot Alexander Wennberg and top-six winger Jack Roslovic were making their debuts on Broadway after being acquired from the Kraken and Blue Jackets, respectively. Goodrow is hanging onto a fourth-line role as the owner of one goal, eight assists and a minus-8 rating through 61 contests.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Two helpers in Wednesday's win

Goodrow picked up two assists in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Lightning. He had the primary helper on both of Jimmy Vesey's tallies as the Rangers' checking lines carried the offense. Goodrow snapped a 10-game point drought with the performance, but he's still mired in a 33-game goal drought. After being a reliable source of 30-plus points in his first two campaigns with New York, the 30-year-old has only one goal and seven points in 49 games this season.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Point drought hits double digits

Goodrow had one shot on goal, two hits and a minus-1 rating in Monday's 2-1 overtime win over the Avalanche as his point drought reached 10 games. Goodrow's in the lineup primarily for his physicality and penalty killing, but more offense wouldn't hurt. He has just one assist in his last 22 games and a single goal through 48 appearances this season. Goodrow had at least 11 goals and 31 points in each of his first two seasons on Broadway, but age appears to be catching up to the veteran forward, who will turn 31 later this month.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Mired in scoring slump

Goodrow posted a blocked shot, a hit and a plus-1 rating but saw his point drought reach nine games in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Blackhawks. Perhaps the face shield Goodrow has been wearing since taking a puck to the face Dec. 5 in Ottawa is obstructing his vision, as he has just one assist over the past month. Then again, he wasn't exactly on a prolific scoring pace before that point, mustering only one goal and two assists in 22 games prior to the incident. Goodrow's contributions on the penalty kill keep him in the lineup, but he has been nearly invisible in the offensive zone after reaching the 10-goal and 30-point marks in each of his first two seasons with the Rangers.

Goodrow (upper body) will be a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt against the Kings, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports. Goodrow missed Saturday's game against Washington but was able to skate on his own. The 30-year-old has been limited to just three points in 23 games this season and hasn't scored a point since Nov. 25.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Not playing Saturday

Goodrow (upper body) won't play Saturday versus Washington, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post. Goodrow didn't make the trip to Washington, but he did skate on his own Saturday. It's unclear at this time if he will be ready to return Sunday against the Kings. Goodrow, who was injured in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Ottawa, has three points and 34 hits in 23 games this season. He will be replaced in the lineup by Riley Nash.

Goodrow (upper body) will not return to Tuesday's game versus the Senators. Goodrow was hurt in the first period after he took a puck to the face. He can be considered day-to-day. • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Puts bow on scoring

Goodrow scored a goal in Monday's 6-3 road loss against the Stars. After a pair of empty-net goals by the Stars to put the game out of reach, Goodrow scored with just 16 seconds left in regulation for his first goal of the season. He also had a blocked shot while winning six of his 10 faceoff chances. He'll look to carry the momentum over into Wednesday's game in Pittsburgh.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Back at it

Goodrow (personal) is at practice Monday, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports. Goodrow missed Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to Minnesota to be with his wife for the birth of their child. His presence at practice Monday suggests he should return to the lineup for Tuesday's game versus Detroit. He's picked up just one helper through 10 contests this campaign.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Dishes out three hits in OT win

Goodrow was scoreless in Monday's 3-2 overtime win against the Jets. While Goodrow went without any points, he was able to deliver three hits in just 9:29 of ice time across 15 shifts. The fourth-liner has been held scoreless in all nine of his games, while posting a minus-1 rating, 12 PIM and just four shots on goal. His occasional PIM and hits do not offer fantasy managers much in the way of value.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Snaps seven-game scoring drought

Goodrow found the back of the net in the Rangers' 5-2 win over New Jersey in Game 6 on Saturday. Goodrow scored midway through the third period to push the Rangers' lead to 4-1. That tally brought his seven-game point drought to an end. Goodrow logged 13:17 of ice time Saturday and is expected to continue to serve primarily in a fourth-line role.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Gets physical in nation's capital

Goodrow had one shot, a minus-1 rating, three hits and a five-minute fighting major in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Capitals. Goodrow drew the ire of Alex Ovechkin with some contact up high, as Ovechkin spent the rest of his shift besieging Goodrow with a slew of pushes, cross-checks and slashes. Ovechkin got a cross-checking penalty and a misconduct that just about ended any hope Washington had of erasing a three-goal deficit over the final 3:31, while Goodrow was challenged to a fight by Tom Wilson, but the officials broke that up before either physical forward could land any haymakers. Despite being relegated to a fourth-line role by the Rangers' active trade deadline, Goodrow still has the ability to get under opponents' skin with his effort and physicality. He's also two points away from reaching 30 for the second time in as many seasons with New York.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Brushes twine to end slump

Goodrow opened the scoring for the Rangers in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Capitals. Goodrow batted the puck out of the air and brushed twine for the 10th time in 59 games. Capping off an eventful first period, he also had seven PIM stemming from tripping and fighting calls. Goodrow is averaging 0.41 points per game, which is a strong rate for a fourth-line contributor, but it's worth noting that he went nine straight games without a point before hitting the scoresheet Saturday.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Produces assist in victory

Goodrow fashioned an assist in Friday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights. Goodrow is averaging 1.9 points per 60 minutes, which would be a career high if he can sustain it through season's end. Specifically, the undrafted winger has nine goals, 14 assists and a plus-4 rating through 49 games; not too shabby for someone averaging only 14:55 of ice time.

  • Rangers' Barclay Goodrow: Three points in victory

Goodrow tallied a goal and two assists in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Islanders. Goodrow tipped a Julien Gauthier shot past Ilya Sorokin to tie the game 3-3 early in the third period. Goodrow would also add helpers on a goal from Gauthier and Vincent Trocheck's empty-netter. The 29-year-old forward can offer sporadic offensive production while adding a physical presence (51 hits, 22 blocked shots) to the Rangers' lineup. Goodrow now has eight goals and 10 assists through 35 games this season.
