Sedlak logged two helpers in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Islanders. Sedlak picked up an assist on Travis Sanheim's shorthanded tally in the first period before assisting on Kevin Hayes' goal later in the frame. That's now consecutive two-point games for Sedlak who's up to seven points (two goals, five assists) in 22 games this season. Sedlak scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Islanders. Sedlak was on a line with Kevin Hayes and Joel Farabee as John Tortorella tried to mix things up yet again. That trio clicked, but the rest of the Flyers' offense went dormant in the team's 10th straight loss. Sedlak scored a rare goal during Tuesday's 5-1 victory over the Blues. Sedlak knocked down a shot from the point by Nick Seeler and scored in front of goalie Thomas Greiss. Avalanche's Lukas Sedlak: Signs one-year deal
Sedlak agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Colorado on Monday. Sedlak spent the last three seasons playing in the KHL for Chelyabinsk, registering 57 goals and 64 assists in 164 games. During his previous NHL stint with the Blue Jackets, the 2011 sixth-round pick managed just 27 points in 162 contests. If he does make the Opening Night roster next season, the 29-year-old center will almost certainly fill out a bottom-six role for the Avs and may need to serve as a healthy scratch periodically....
