Davis (knee) is slated to sign a three-year deal with the Jaguars, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Davis, who is presumably past the knee issue that sidelined him for the Bills' two postseason games, thus is in line to join a Jacksonville wide receiver corps that also includes Christian Kirk and Zay Jones, while Calvin Ridley is poised to become a free agent. If Ridley heads elsewhere, Davis should step into a key role with the Jaguars on the heels of logging 45 catches (on 81 targets) for 746 yards and seven TDs in 17 regular-season outings with Buffalo in 2023.

New England's defensive game plan had the entire Bills offense in a difficult spot, with Josh Allen producing just 169 yards and one interception through the air and the leading rusher (James Cook) held to 48 yards. Perhaps the Bills would have thrown with more urgency if the Patriots offense had proved more threatening, but in this game the Buffalo defense did most of the necessary lifting, producing four turnovers and scoring on one. A road game against Miami in Week 18 could require more passing from Buffalo, and perhaps with that Davis might find more opportunity than he did against New England on Sunday.

It'll sting if you start Davis and the Bills go back to using him as a downfield threat more than a short and intermediate target. My guess, and it's just a guess, is that the Bills like the idea of playing up-tempo with so many explosive talents on the field. Davis also has been a reliable end-zone target all season, so even if the Bills do go for a slower pace or don't use Davis the same way he can connect for a score to help his numbers. He has just enough upside to be a low-end WR2 in PPR this week over DK Metcalf, D.J. Moore and Amari Cooper.

Davis' impressive touchdown streak came to an abrupt halt at four games following Sunday's stinker. The deep threat finished with his lowest yardage total of the season while also coughing up a fumble, barely scraping together a positive score in most fantasy formats. Even with the rough outing, Davis still owns a respectable 24-362-4 receiving line on 30 targets through six weeks. The Bills' No. 2 receiver could be primed for a bounce-back game against the Patriots next Sunday, as Bill Belichick's defenses have historically shaded coverages toward the opposition's No. 1 option.
