  • Bears' Rasheem Green: Headed for Chicago

    Green signed a one-year deal with the Bears on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Green spent last season with the Texans after a four-year stay with the Seahawks, who selected him in the third round of the 2018 Draft. Green accumulated 42 tackles (27 solo), 3.5 sacks and two passes defended last season, as a regular in Houston's defensive line rotation. He'll likely have a similar role with the Bears.

In his fourth NFL season at just 24 years old, Green posted a career high in sacks, tying Darrell Taylor for second on the team in the category. Green will be an unrestricted free agent in March, but the Seahawks have plenty of incentive to keep him around because the team's pass rush has struggled in recent years.
