Vikings' George Iloka: Secures full-time role

Iloka signed with the Vikings' 53-man roster Saturday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.

Instead of elevating Iloka to the active roster each week, the Vikings rewarded the veteran safety with a contract ahead of Sunday's game versus the Seahawks. Iloka played 66 percent of the team's defensive snaps last week against the Texans and recorded five tackles, and he's poised for a similar role in Week 5.
