Welcome to Week 3. Are you having fun yet? Do you have enough healthy players on your roster? I hope you're not giving up on the season, even if you're 0-2.

Remember, while your Fantasy team might be a MASH unit right now, you're not alone. With all the stars banged up, a lot of Fantasy managers are dealing with the same issues.

Everyone is running to the waiver wire to grab players like Derek Carr, Carson Steele, Quentin Johnston and Mike Gesicki as potential starters. Fantasy managers are making some crazy trades. And we're all putting band-aids on our rosters in some cases just to get by.

But this is why we play Fantasy Football -- to manage our roster. This is the fun of being a general manager. You get to overcome adversity and try to keep winning.

Hopefully, things will turn around this week, and it would be great if we don't get ravaged by injuries again. So stay the course, keep the faith and remain focused on the prize (is that enough cliches?).

It's a long season, and you can still manage your way to the playoffs and an eventual championship. Let's bleeping go.

With Kenneth Walker III (oblique) out in Week 2 at New England, Charbonnet stepped up for the Seahawks and Fantasy managers. And now Charbonnet will do it again in Week 3 against the Dolphins. Against the Patriots, Charbonnet had 14 carries for 38 yards and a touchdown, and he added five catches for 31 yards on five targets. Walker isn't expected to play again in Week 3, and this is a great matchup against Miami. The combination of Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby ran over the Dolphins in Week 1 for 24 carries, 117 yards and a touchdown, along with two catches for 15 yards on three targets. And then James Cook and Ray Davis combined for 20 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns and two catches for 16 yards and a touchdown on two targets in Week 2. I like Charbonnet as a top-10 running back in all leagues in Week 3, and he should have a dominant performance in place of Walker once again.

Burrow has been shaky to start the season, but hopefully he's ready to take off in Week 3 against Washington. He only scored 8.1 Fantasy points in Week 1 against New England before improving in Week 2 with 21.2 points at Kansas City. Tee Higgins (hamstring) could return this week, and the matchup against Washington is fantastic. In two games, Baker Mayfield and Daniel Jones combined for 467 passing yards, six touchdowns and no interceptions against the Commanders. Burrow is a top-five quarterback this week.

Daniels failed to score a touchdown in Week 2 against the Giants, but he led the Commanders on seven scoring drives that resulted in seven field goals. He should find the end zone this week in his first appearance on Monday night at Cincinnati. You know Daniels will show off his rushing prowess (he's averaging 66 rushing yards per game), and this game might actually turn into a shootout with a projected score of 48.5. Daniels once again has top-five upside against the Bengals.

Carr is the No. 2 Fantasy quarterback this season, and he's averaging 26.6 points per game. He should stay hot against the Eagles in Week 3, and Philadelphia has allowed Jordan Love and Kirk Cousins to combine for 501 passing yards, four touchdowns and one interception in two games. It's been fun to watch Carr's start to the 2024 campaign under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, and it's time to trust him as a No. 1 Fantasy quarterback in all leagues.

Mayfield is the No. 1 Fantasy quarterback so far this season, and he's averaging 29.2 points per game. Going back to last year, Mayfield has scored at least 20.3 Fantasy points in eight of his past nine games, including the playoffs. Despite the Broncos struggling at 0-2, this isn't an easy matchup since Geno Smith (19.8 Fantasy points) and Justin Fields (13.4) posted modest stats against Denver. That said, I'm buying into Mayfield as a No. 1 Fantasy quarterback in all leagues, and he's worth trusting in this matchup at home.

Goff has underperformed in two games so far against the Rams and Buccaneers, and he's only averaging 11.1 Fantasy points per game. It's been extra disappointing since both of those contests were expected to be high-scoring affairs. Week 3 is the same story for Goff since the Lions-Cardinals game has a projected score of 52.5, but this time Goff will come through. Arizona has allowed six of the past eight opposing quarterbacks to score at least 22.4 Fantasy points, and Goff has been good lately following a loss. In his past three games after a loss, Goff has scored at least 20.3 Fantasy points in each outing and is averaging 28.7 points over that span. Also, Goff has scored at least 20 Fantasy points in five straight games against the Cardinals. Over that span, he's averaging 305.2 passing yards with 12 total touchdowns and no interceptions.

Smith is due for a big game after scoring 19.8 and 19.9 Fantasy points in each of his first two matchups against Denver and New England. And it could happen this week against Miami at home. This is the Dolphins first road game this year, and Miami allowed opposing quarterbacks to average 25.3 Fantasy points on the road in eight games last season. While I'm expecting a big game from Zach Charbonnet as the Start of the Week, Smith should also finish as a low-end starter in all leagues.
CLE Cleveland • #4
Age: 29 • Experience: 8 yrs.
I wouldn't start Watson in a one-quarterback league, but he's a good option in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues. He should take advantage of this matchup against the Giants, especially if Brian Burns (groin) is out for New York's defense. Watson's best game was 15.4 Fantasy points in Week 2 at Jacksonville, but he will hopefully have a two-touchdown outing for any Fantasy managers who need him in Week 3. And it would be great if Watson started to connect with Amari Cooper this week since Cooper only has five catches for 27 yards on 17 targets.

This will be Williams' best matchup to date after facing the Titans and Texans in the first two games of the season. Indianapolis will not pressure Williams as much as those two teams, and Williams has been sacked nine times already. The Colts kept Malik Willis in check in Week 2, but C.J. Stroud scored 22.7 Fantasy points against Indianapolis in Week 1. This should be Williams' first game with at least 20 Fantasy points, and I like him as a low-end starter in all leagues.

You're sitting Stafford in one-quarterback leagues, but you might have to bench him in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues as well. Without Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) behind a banged-up offensive line, it could be ugly for Stafford against San Francisco. Through two games, Stafford is averaging just 11.7 Fantasy points, and he has six touchdowns and seven interceptions in his past five meetings with the 49ers, while averaging 245.8 passing yards per game over that span.

Herbert will hopefully be OK after injuring his leg in Week 2 at Carolina, but even if he plays in Week 3 at Pittsburgh, he will once again be tough to trust in one-quarterback leagues. Through two games against the Raiders and Chargers, Herbert has combined for just 27.4 Fantasy points, and he has yet to top 145 passing yards in any contest. The Steelers have yet to face a prolific quarterback in two outings against Kirk Cousins and Bo Nix, but Pittsburgh has also allowed just one touchdown in two games. Herbert is just a low-end starter in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues.

Lawrence has looked at times this season, but he hasn't been consistent or put together a quality stat line in two games against Miami or Cleveland. He's only averaging 13.3 Fantasy points per game, and he should have another rough outing at Buffalo. The Bills held Kyler Murray and Tua Tagovailoa to a combined 23.7 Fantasy points in two games, and Lawrence has a lot to prove before Fantasy managers can trust him. He's only worth using as a low-end starter in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 3.

We keep waiting for that big game from Fields, but he's playing under control and doing exactly what is asked of him. As a result, Fields is averaging just 12.7 Fantasy points per game in two outings against Atlanta and Denver. It's hard to expect a dramatic shift in production for Fields against the Chargers as both teams will likely take a conservative approach, and the expected total for this matchup is 35.5, which is the lowest of the week. I would only start Fields in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 3.

Darnold has been one of the darling stories of the season so far as the starter for the Vikings, who are 2-0. He's averaging 21.3 Fantasy points per game against the Giants and 49ers, and we'll see if he can stay hot against the Texans. But I don't love this matchup for Darnold, and he's only worth starting in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues. This Houston defense is nasty and just sacked Caleb Williams seven times in Week 2, and this should be Darnold's worst game of the season, which means I expect him to score fewer than 18 Fantasy points in Week 3.

I was initially looking forward to trusting Purdy in Week 3. The Rams were just abused by Kyler Murray in Week 2 for 266 passing yards and three touchdowns (he also added 59 rushing yards), and Purdy has been good coming off a loss. In his past two games after a loss, Purdy combined for 526 yards, five touchdowns, and no interceptions, and he scored at least 21 Fantasy points in each outing. But you can't trust Purdy if he's down Christian McCaffrey (calf), Deebo Samuel (calf) and potentially George Kittle (hamstring). That seems like too much firepower for Purdy to overcome, and he's only scored 10.3 Fantasy points in Week 1 and 15.9 Fantasy points in Week 2. I would only use Purdy in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues for Week 3.

I love his involvement in the passing game in Week 2 against Tampa Bay, with four catches for 35 yards on four targets, and this should be a great matchup against Arizona. The Cardinals allowed James Cook to gain over 100 total yards in Week 1, and Kyren Williams scored a rushing touchdown against Arizona in Week 2. Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs should excel in Week 3, and Montgomery is worth starting as a solid No. 2 running back in all leagues.

This could be a big week for White, and hopefully, he does well against the Broncos. He's off to a terrible start running the ball with 25 carries for 49 yards, and thankfully, he caught six passes for 75 yards on six targets in Week 1 against Washington to boost his Fantasy production. Otherwise, we'd really be in a panic. Bucky Irving could be ready for more work, and White is dealing with a minor groin injury, which is something to monitor. But as long as he's able to play against Denver, you should still consider White a No. 2 running back in all leagues. The Broncos have allowed 11 running backs to score at least 12.1 PPR points in their past nine road games going back to last season, including Kenneth Walker III (18.9) and Zach Charbonnet (12.1) in Week 1. This should be a get-right game for White, given the matchup at home. And if White is ruled out with the groin injury, then Irving would be a must-start running back in all leagues.

Swift has been a disaster so far through two games with the Bears. He's combined for 24 carries for 48 yards and four catches for 24 yards on six targets. He's had tough matchups against the Titans and Texans, but things should get better in Week 3 against the Colts. Indianapolis is without its best run-stopper in defensive tackle DeForest Buckner (ankle), who was placed on injured reserve. And the Colts have been absolutely abused through two games against Joe Mixon and Josh Jacobs, who have both rushed for at least 151 yards. Swift won't do that, and we'll see if Khalil Herbert gets more work moving forward, but I would gamble on Swift in this matchup as a No. 2 running back in all leagues.

As expected, the Panthers run defense struggled last week, and J.K. Dobbins delivered at the Start of the Week with 17 carries for 131 yards and a touchdown, along with one catch for 1 yard, for 20.1 PPR points. Alvin Kamara scored 22.0 PPR points against Carolina in Week 1, and this should be a game where White can get going. He's struggled so far this season with 22 carries for 68 yards and five catches for 16 yards on six targets, but Antonio Pierce remains committed to White as the lead rusher. Given the matchup, I'm willing to start White as a low-end No. 2 running back in all leagues. And you can also use Alexander Mattison as a sleeper in deeper leagues as well.
CLE Cleveland • #34
Age: 25 • Experience: 3 yrs.
Ford was out-touched by D'Onta Foreman 15-8 in Week 2 at Jacksonville, but Ford still ran well with seven carries for 64 yards. I'm going back to Ford this week as a low-end No. 2 running back, given the matchup with the Giants. They have allowed at least 14.6 PPR points to a running back in each of the first two games against Aaron Jones and Brian Robinson Jr., and Ford will hopefully get back to leading the Browns in touches in Week 3. You can also consider Foreman a sleeper as well, especially if he has the chance for double digits in carries in this game at home.
CAR Carolina • #30
Age: 25 • Experience: 4 yrs.
Hubbard looked better in Week 2 against the Chargers (11.6 PPR points) than he did in Week 1 at New Orleans (1.4 PPR points), and things should be trending up for the Panthers offense with Andy Dalton starting for Bryce Young. It was great to see Hubbard involved in the passing game against the Chargers with four catches for 12 yards on five targets, and hopefully, that becomes a staple of the offense moving forward. This week, Hubbard should be considered a solid flex option against the Raiders, who have allowed a running back to score at least 16.6 PPR points in each of the first two games with J.K. Dobbins and Derrick Henry.
CIN Cincinnati • #31
Age: 26 • Experience: 5 yrs.
Moss remains the lead running back for the Bengals heading into Week 3 against Washington, and he should be considered a flex option in all leagues. The Commanders allowed Rachaad White to score 16.6 PPR points in Week 1, and Devin Singletary had 16.5 PPR points in Week 2. Moss played 80 percent of the snaps in Week 2 against the Chiefs compared to 20 percent for Chase Brown, and Moss had 12 carries for 34 yards and one catch for 13 yards on one target. He scored 14.1 PPR points in Week 1, and Moss could return to that level of production against Washington on Monday night. I like Moss as a flex option in all leagues.
KC Kansas City • #42

This will be Kansas City's first game without Isiah Pacheco (leg), so we'll see what happens with Steele, Samaje Perine, and potentially Kareem Hunt if he's elevated off the practice squad. I anticipate Steele getting the majority of work on rushing downs, with Perine working on passing downs, but it's a guessing game heading into Week 3 at Atlanta. I'm going to use Steele as a flex option in leagues where I added him, and Perine could be a flex option as well. The Falcons have yet to allow a running back to score a touchdown in matchups with Najee Harris and Saquon Barkley, but Kansas City has had a running back score at least 12.6 PPR points in 13 games in a row going back to last season, including the playoffs. Let's hope Steele or Perine can keep that streak alive against Atlanta.

He scored 9.2 PPR points in Week 1 against Minnesota, and I expect that to be closer to his production this week at the Browns. Cleveland has allowed a rushing touchdown in each of the first two games against Ezekiel Elliott and Travis Etienne, but no running back has more than 58 total yards in two games against the Browns. If Singletary doesn't score this week, then his production could be minimal, and he should be considered a flex at best in all leagues.

Elliott played fewer snaps than Rico Dowdle in Week 2 against New Orleans (30-28), and hopefully that's a sign of things to come. Dowdle has more upside than Elliott, who struggled against the Saints with six carries for 16 yards and two catches for 16 yards on three targets. Elliot did score 12.9 PPR points in Week 1 at Cleveland since he found the end zone, but the Ravens should be able to contain Elliott and Dowdle in this matchup. Harris has been the lead running back for the Steelers through two games, but he's had modest stat lines to show for it. He had 20 carries for 70 yards and one catch for 9 yards on two targets in Week 1 at Atlanta and 17 carries for 69 yards and one catch for 5 yards on two targets in Week 2 at Denver. He's yet to score more than 8.9 PPR points in either game, and Jaylen Warren actually played more snaps than Harris in Week 2 (32-30). The Chargers have yet to allow a rushing touchdown, but they've struggled in the passing game against Alexander Mattison (four catches for 43 yards and a touchdown on six targets) and Chuba Hubbard (four catches for 12 yards on five targets). It's doubtful Harris gets many catches this week, and if he doesn't score then his production will be minimal. Consider him a flex option at best in most leagues.

Houston has allowed a running back to score in each of the first two games against Jonathan Taylor and Khalil Herbert, but it's been hard to run on the Texans. Jones scored 18.9 PPR points in Week 1 at the Giants, but he struggled in Week 2 against San Francisco with nine carries for 32 yards and five catches for 36 yards on six targets, with a lost fumble. Ty Chandler had 10 carries for 82 yards against the 49ers, and we could see him get a bigger workload this week. Pickens had a tough matchup in Week 2 at Denver with cornerback Patrick Surtain, and he finished with two catches for 29 yards on four targets. In Week 1, Pickens had six catches for 85 yards on seven targets against Atlanta, and I'm expecting a similar stat line -- if not better -- in Week 3 against the Chargers. Pickens is worth starting as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

It's fun watching Williams have his third-year breakout campaign in front of our eyes. Through two games against the Rams and Buccaneers, Williams has 20 targets for 10 catches, 200 yards and a touchdown, and he's scored at least 14.4 PPR points in each outing. Williams should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in Week 3, and he could see a boost in value with Amon-Ra St. Brown (leg) potentially limited if he's less than 100 percent.

Flowers is off to a solid start this season with 21 targets in two games against Kansas City and Las Vegas, and he has 13 catches for 128 yards and a touchdown over that span while averaging 16.6 PPR points per game. This game has the potential to be a shootout with a projected score of 48.5, and Flowers would be in a great spot if the Ravens are chasing points and struggling to run the ball. I like Flowers as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

Keenan Allen (heel) was out in Week 2 at Houston, and he missed practice Wednesday leading up to Week 3 at the Colts. That should be a boost for Moore, and this matchup against Indianapolis is his best one to date after playing the Titans and Texans in the first two weeks of the season. Moore has 18 targets in two games, but he's only managed 11 catches for 89 yards and is averaging just 10.7 PPR points per game. The Colts are No. 6 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and Moore should finally deliver as a No. 2 Fantasy option in all leagues in Week 3.

It's time to start Shaheed as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues. He's been impressive in two games against Carolina and Dallas with seven catches for 169 yards and two touchdowns on nine targets, and he's averaging 18.6 PPR points per game. I'm hopeful that Chris Olave starts playing at a higher level as well, but clearly Klint Kubiak's offense has been great for New Orleans, especially Shaheed. This week, the Saints are facing an Eagles defense that has allowed two opposing receivers to score touchdowns in each of their first two games, so hopefully Shaheed and Olave can each find the end zone in this matchup.

Smith-Njigba got on track in a big way in Week 2 at New England with 12 catches for 117 yards on 16 targets, and hopefully this is a sign of things to come. DK Metcalf is a must-start receiver in all leagues in Week 3 against Miami, and Smith-Njigba is a borderline No. 2 receiver in this matchup with the Dolphins. Tyler Lockett should just be considered a flier in the majority of leagues, and most Fantasy managers would rather see Metcalf and Smith-Njigba continue to dominate targets from Geno Smith.
BUF Buffalo • #10

The volume hasn't been there for Shakir yet with only eight targets in two games, but he's been Buffalo's most reliable receiver so far with eight catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. He scored 13.2 PPR points in Week 1 against Arizona, and I'm hoping he can at least reach that total against Jacksonville. So far, three receivers have scored at least 12.3 PPR points against the Jaguars in two games against Miami and Cleveland, and Shakir should be started in all three-receiver leagues in Week 3.
CAR Carolina • #5
Age: 28 • Experience: 6 yrs.
I'm hopeful that things start to improve for Johnson in Week 3 at the Raiders with Andy Dalton starting at quarterback for the Panthers in place of Bryce Young. Johnson has been awful so far in two games in Carolina with five catches for 34 yards on 12 targets. I'm willing to use Johnson as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues against Las Vegas, and the Raiders have allowed at least one receiver to score at least 14.9 PPR points in each game this season against the Chargers and Ravens.
LAR L.A. Rams • #15
Age: 30 • Experience: 9 yrs.
The Rams need someone to step up with Puka Nacua (knee) and Cooper Kupp (ankle) injured, and Robinson will hopefully be a go-to target for Matthew Stafford. Jordan Whittington, Tyler Johnson and Tutu Atwell are also potential No. 3 Fantasy receivers in deeper leagues, but Robinson should have the best rapport with Stafford and the most upside in Week 3 against the 49ers. In his past three home games, Robinson has 12 catches for 181 yards and three touchdowns, and he scored at least 14.7 PPR points in each outing. San Francisco has also allowed four receivers to score at least 12.0 PPR points in two games this year.
CLE Cleveland • #3
Age: 25 • Experience: 5 yrs.
Jeudy is off to a good start with the Browns with eight catches for 98 yards on 14 targets, and he's scored at least 11.5 PPR points in each game against Dallas and Jacksonville. This week, he has a favorable matchup against the Giants, and Jeudy is worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. I'm hopeful this is also the week that Amari Cooper gets on track, and he's worth starting as a No. 2 receiver in all leagues. But Jeudy is worth using as a flier if he's been sitting on your bench to start the season.

Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) getting hurt is awful news for Waddle. He's played eight games in his career without Tagovailoa, and Waddle has 42 catches for 453 yards over that span with no touchdowns. That's an average of 5.3 catches and 56.6 yards per game. While Tyreek Hill remains a must-start Fantasy receiver -- he has 25 catches for 302 yards and a rushing touchdown in four games without Tagovailoa -- Waddle is tougher to trust. I would only start Waddle in three-receiver leagues in Week 3 at Seattle with Skylar Thompson under center.
