Coach Mike McDaniel said after Friday's preseason loss at Tampa Bay that the Dolphins hope Beckham (undisclosed) will be able to practice before Week 1, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
After signing a one-year deal with Miami in May, Beckham spent the entirety of training camp and exhibition season on the active/PUP list due to an unknown injury. Considering McDaniel's comment Friday, the team could make it clear that Beckham is closing in on full health by removing him from PUP, but he ultimately won't be able to join his teammates in drills until such a move is made.
