  • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Continues solid play Friday

Jovic accumulated 22 points (9-18 FG, 4-10 3Pt), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 27 minutes during Friday's 125-103 win over the Raptors. Jovic bounced back from a subpar outing against the Mavericks on Wednesday, and he surpassed the 15-point mark for the third time across his last four outings. Jovic has been a regular starter for Miami in the last few weeks, and he has been up to the challenge, averaging 9.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game since the All-Star break. • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Efficient in double-overtime win

Jovic totaled 23 points (8-12 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight rebounds and one assist in 40 minutes during Tuesday's 117-111 double-overtime win over the Hawks. Jovic was efficient and continues to embrace the starting role, as he's now scored in double digits in four of his last six appearances. This was just the second time he surpassed the 20-point mark. While he's not expected to do it regularly in the future, his fantasy upside has increased considerably now that he's a regular member of the first unit. Jovic has started 23 consecutive games and is averaging 9.4 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game during that stretch.

  • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Probable to face Washington

Jovic (knee) is probable to face the Wizards on Sunday. Jovic sustained a right knee contusion in Friday's win over the Trail Blazers, but the probable tag suggests he shouldn't have significant problems returning to the hardwood ahead of Sunday's contest. Jovic is averaging 7.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game in a starting role since the All-Star break.

  • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Suffers knee contusion

Jovic sustained a right knee contusion and wasn't able to return to Friday's 142-82 win over the Trail Blazers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. He finished with five points (2-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), three assists, two rebounds and two steals in 17 minutes. Jovic tried to play a few possessions after he picked up the injury, but he appeared to be uncomfortable. Miami had a big lead when Jovic left the game, so that may have factored into the club's decision to hold him out for the ret of the night. Jovic should be considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Wizards.

  • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Iffy against Cleveland

Jovic (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Cavaliers, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Jovic is in danger of missing his third straight contest Wednesday due to a right hamstring strain. • Heat's Nikola Jovic: Decent stat line despite loss

Jovic closed with 10 points (3-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal over 23 minutes during Sunday's 110-108 loss to the Wizards. Jovic scored in double digits just for the second time since jumping into a permanent starting role, and there's no question he needs to get better offensively if he wants to experience an uptick in his fantasy upside as well. Jovic is averaging just 8.2 points per game over his last 10 starts, but the fact that he's shooting 49.2 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from deep in that span is certainly encouraging.

Jovic won't start Wednesday's game against the Grizzlies, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Wednesday's contest will snap a streak of 10 straight starts for Jovic. However, the move was to be expected considering he had played only 15 minutes in each of Miami's last two games. Haywood Highsmith will replace him in the first unit, and it's unclear how large of a role, if any, Jovic will have as a reserve.
