Forbes was arrested Wednesday in San Antonio on a misdemeanor family violence charge, Dillon Collier of KSAT 12 San Antonio reports. Forbes was arrested at 5 a.m. local time on suspicion of assault with bodily injury after a verbal argument with a female companion turned physical, according to police records. The 29-year-old guard recently became a free agent after being waived by the Timberwolves in the aftermath of last week's trade deadline.... See More ... See Less

Bryn Forbes: Headed out of Minnesota
The Timberwolves plan to waive Forbes on Thursday, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports. Forbes will end up losing his roster spot with the Timberwolves needing to clear room for their two pickups from Wednesday's three-team deal with the Jazz and Lakers, Mike Conley and Nickeil Alexander-Walker. Over 25 appearances for Minnesota this season, Forbes averaged 3.6 points in 10.7 minutes on 36.1 percent shooting from the field.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Good to go Friday
Forbes (ankle) is available for Friday's game versus Orlando. Forbes has been upgraded from questionable to available Friday with a right ankle sprain. However, the 29-year-old guard hasn't played since Jan. 11, so he is unlikely to receive many minutes against the Magic.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Listed as questionable
Forbes (ankle) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Magic. Forbes continues to deal with a right ankle sprain, but his potential absence shouldn't impact Minnesota's rotation, as he hasn't seen game action since Jan. 11.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Downgraded to out
Forbes (ankle) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against Golden State. Forbes recently picked up a right ankle sprain and will miss at least one contest. However, his absence shouldn't impact Minnesota's rotation, as he hasn't seen game action since Jan. 11.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Iffy against Golden State
Forbes is questionable for Wednesday's game versus the Warriors due to a right ankle sprain. It is unclear when Forbes suffered his ankle sprain, but his late addition to the injury report is a bad sign for his availability Wednesday. However, the 29-year-old guard's potential absence shouldn't affect Minnesota's rotation, as Forbes hasn't played since Jan. 11.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Available Monday
Forbes (illness) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Monday's game against Houston. Forbes was added to the injury report Sunday due to an illness, but he'll be available off the bench if needed. He hasn't had much of an impact within Minnesota's rotation of late, as his last action dates back to Jan. 11 against Detroit.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Dealing with illness
Forbes is questionable for Monday's matchup against the Rockets due to an illness. Forbes is under the weather and considered a question mark for Monday's contest. Despite being healthy, the sharpshooter hasn't played since Jan. 11, so his potential absence shouldn't impact Minnesota's game plan.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Good to go Sunday
Forbes (shoulder) is available for Sunday's game versus Houston. Forbes has been upgraded from questionable to available Sunday. However, he is unlikely to see any minutes as he has fallen out of Minnesota's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Questionable against Houston
Forbes is questionable for Sunday's game versus the Rockets due to right shoulder soreness. Even if Forbes can suit up Sunday, he is unlikely to receive any playing time. The veteran guard hasn't played since Dec. 28 despite being available for all but one of the Timberwolves' contests over that span.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Available Friday
Forbes (shoulder) is available for Friday's matchup against the Clippers. Forbes missed one game due to a shoulder injury, but he'll be available off the bench Friday. However, he didn't appear in three contests prior to the injury, so it's unclear if the sharpshooter will have a role off the bench against Los Angeles.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Status up in air for Friday
Forbes (shoulder) is questionable for Friday's contest versus the Clippers. Forbes' questionable designation popped up ahead of Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers and ultimately resulted in him missing the contest. However, he didn't appear in the three games prior either, so his status for Friday may not have a significant impact on the rotation either way.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Questionable Wednesday
Forbes is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Trail Blazers due to right shoulder soreness. Forbes hurt his shoulder during the Timberwolves' shootaround Monday and was unable to suit up during the team's win over the Nuggets that day, Dane Moore of BringMeTheNews.com. It's unclear whether he'll be able to return Wednesday, but his status shouldn't impact Minnesota's rotation much, if at all.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Quiet in loss
Forbes went scoreless (0-1 FG) to go along with one rebound across eight minutes in Friday's 121-109 loss to the Celtics. Forbes has barely been in the rotation over the Timberwolves' previous eight games. He is averaging 3.1 points, 0.7 rebounds, 0.4 assists and 0.4 triples across 11 minutes per game during that span. Barring some significant injuries ahead of him in the rotation, he is not worth rostering in any fantasy format.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Barely visible in Friday's win
Forbes registered two points (1-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt) and one assist over 16 minutes during Friday's 112-110 win over the Thunder. Forbes saw a handful of extra minutes in the win, brought about by injuries to a number of key players. Despite the increased responsibility, he managed just two points, highlighting his lack of upside when it comes to fantasy. Besides being a situational three-point streamer, Forbes can safely be left on the waiver wire in just about every format.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Not listed on injury report
Forbes isn't listed on the injury report for Wednesday's matchup against Indiana. Forbes was sidelined for Saturday's contest due to a stomach illness, but he's since cleared the issue and should be good to go Wednesday. Across 12 appearances, the backup guard has averaged 3.6 points in 10.3 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Out Saturday
Forbes is out Saturday against the Thunder due to gastroenteritis. Forbes plays a depth role for Minnesota, so his absence likely won't affect the rotation much. His next chance to see the floor arrives Wednesday against the Pacers.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Enters rotation Monday
Forbes produced zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) across four minutes during Monday's 105-101 win over the Heat. Forbes saw four minutes of action in the win, the first time he has made it onto the floor in over a week. With the Timberwolves basically at full strength, Forbes has been unable to carve out a consistent role for himself. While he can have some limited streaming appeal at times, all signs point to him spending the majority of his time cheering on from the bench.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Biggest impact yet
Forbes registered 10 points (4-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt), three assists and three steals over 18 minutes during Friday's 114-103 loss to Memphis. Forbes set season-high marks in points and field goals attempted. Friday was just the second contest this season in which Forbes has logged 15-plus minutes. He's merely a change-of-pace option among Minnesota's bench guards.... See More ... See Less -
Timberwolves' Bryn Forbes: Makes rare appearance Monday
Forbes accumulated three points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one assist and one steal over eight minutes during Monday's 120-107 loss to the Knicks. Forbes saw action for just the seventh time this season, logging eight garbage time minutes in the loss. The Timberwolves certainly don't look to be a cohesive unit at the moment, highlighted by what was another disappointing loss. While Forbes can have some limited streaming appeal when given ample playing time, there is no indication that will be happening anytime soon.... See More ... See Less
