  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Hits for 26 in Toronto

Brunson supplied 26 points (11-19 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and seven assists over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 145-101 victory over the Raptors. The 27-year-old guard continues to fill up the bucket, topping 25 points for the seventh time in the last 10 games. Over that stretch, Brunson has averaged 28.3 points, 6.2 assists, 3.2 boards, 2.9 threes and 0.8 steals while leading the Knicks to an 8-2 record, as the team looks to lock up a playoff spot and avoid sliding back into the Play-In Tournament.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Goes for 28 points Monday

Brunson contributed 28 points (10-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds and six assists in 30 minutes during Monday's 124-99 victory over the Pistons. Brunson continues to thrive on offense for the Knicks, and while Donte DiVincenzo carried the offense with his career-best 40-point performance, Brunson still delivered an impressive stat line. Brunson has emerged as the Knicks' alpha dog with Julius Randle (shoulder) sidelined, and the All-Star guard is averaging 25.7 points, 5.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds per contest since the beginning of March.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Hands out nine assists Thursday

Brunson totaled 26 points (11-23 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds and nine assists over 34 minutes during Thursday's 113-100 loss to the Nuggets. Brunson didn't have his best shooting performance since he needed 23 shots to score 26 points, but he still salvaged his overall stat line by dishing out nine assists. Brunson has looked excellent while operating as New York's primary offensive threat in the absence of Julius Randle (shoulder), and the All-Star point guard is averaging 26.5 points, 5.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game since the beginning of March.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Scores team-high 34 points

Brunson racked up 34 points (12-25 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 35 minutes during Monday's 119-112 win over Golden State. Brunson is enjoying an insane three-game tear, averaging 40.2 points per game over that span. The Villanova product is no stranger to lofty totals, as he's exceeded 30 points in a staggering 24 games this season. He currently ranks fifth in the league with an average of 27.6 points per game.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Another 40-point effort in win

Brunson finished Saturday's 98-91 win over the Kings with 42 points (17-28 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, four steals, two assists and one block in 36 minutes. Brunson scored at least 40 points for the second straight game, carrying the Knicks to an impressive road victory. Sitting just two games behind the third-seeded Cavaliers, Brunson should be front and center as the Knicks make a push down the stretch.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Just misses double-double Tuesday

Brunson amassed 20 points (7-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Tuesday's 106-79 win over the 76ers. The 27-year-old point guard came within a whisker of his sixth double-double of the season. Brunson has scored 20-plus points in 12 of 14 games since the beginning of February, averaging 27.4 points, 6.6 assists, 3.1 boards, 2.2 threes and 0.9 steals over that stretch, and his health seems to be the only thing that can slow him down -- he missed three games during that time and played only one minute in a fourth, due to various minor bumps and bruises.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Leads offense in defeat

Brunson finished with 19 points (6-22 FG, 1-9 3Pt, 6-8 FT), three rebounds and eight assists over 32 minutes during Sunday's 79-73 loss to the 76ers. Brunson struggled shooting from the field but still led all New York players in scoring to go along with a team-high assist mark to boost the Knicks in a low-scoring contest. Brunson has now handed out eight or more dimes in 23 games this season, the first time in his last four outings.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Pops for game-high 26 in return

Brunson supplied 26 points (11-19 FG, 4-7 3Pt), three rebounds and two assists across 29 minutes during Friday's 98-74 win over the Magic. The 27-year-old point guard missed the Knicks' last game with a bruised knee he suffered Mar. 3 against the Cavaliers, but Brunson appeared just about back in form Friday. He's scored more than 20 points in 20 straight games during which he's seen a full workload, last falling short against Portland on Jan. 9 when he managed only 12 points in 26 minutes. In those 20 contests, Brunson's averaging 31.4 points, 7.1 assists, 3.5 boards, 2.5 threes and 0.9 steals.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Cleared to play Friday

Brunson (knee) will play in Friday's game versus Orlando, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports. Brunson missed Tuesday's loss to the Hawks with a left knee contusion, but he was trending in this direction since returning to practice Thursday. With Brunson back in the lineup, Miles McBride is expected to return to the second unit.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Intends to play against Orlando

Brunson (knee) is going through warmups with the intention of playing in Friday's game versus the Magic, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports. Brunson, who avoided a significant injury after leaving Sunday's win over the Cavaliers in the first minute, appears likely to suit up Friday after missing Tuesday's loss to the Hawks with a left knee contusion. However, the star guard's official status won't be confirmed until shortly before tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Questionable for Friday

Brunson (knee) is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Magic. Brunson missed Tuesday's 116-100 loss to the Hawks with a left knee contusion, but head coach Tom Thibodeau said the point guard was able to go through most of Thursday's practice. The Knicks should provide another update on Brunson's status following Friday's morning shootaround. If Brunson is ultimately cleared to play Friday, Miles McBride would move back to the bench and see a steep reduction in minutes.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Gets in extended practice reps

Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said Brunson (knee) went through "most of practice" Thursday, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports. Brunson missed all but the opening minute of Sunday's win over the Cavaliers and the entirety of Tuesday's loss to the Hawks with a left knee contusion, but he looks set to avoid an extended absence. While Brunson's involvement in the majority of Thursday's practice is a good sign, the Knicks have yet to reveal whether he'll be available for Friday's game against the Magic.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Ruled out Tuesday

Brunson (knee) won't play in Tuesday's game versus the Hawks, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports. Brunson received good news earlier Tuesday when an MRI on his left knee came back clean after he was forced out early in Sunday's win over the Cavaliers with the injury, but he'll still be forced to miss at least one contest on account of a contusion. Miles McBride will likely replace Brunson in the starting five and should get all the run he can handle at point guard. Brunson's next chance to suit up will come Friday versus Orlando.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Questionable for Tuesday

Brunson will be questionable for Tuesday's game against the Hawks due to a left knee contusion, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports. According to Begley, Brunson has avoided a serious knee injury after leaving Sunday's win over the Cavaliers in the first minute, and it appears there's a chance he could be available for all three of New York's games during Week 19. If the point guard is deemed available for Tuesday's game, Miles McBride will lose most of his streaming appeal.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Tending to bruised knee

Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said after Sunday's 107-98 win over the Cavaliers that Brunson was diagnosed with a left knee contusion after exiting the contest, Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reports. Fortunately for Brunson, X-rays on his knee returned negative after he was forced out of the contest just one minute into the first quarter. Though the Knicks are classifying Brunson's injury as a bruise rather than a sprain, Thibodeau wasn't willing to speculate whether the point guard would be able to play in the team's next game Tuesday versus the Hawks. If Brunson is sidelined, Miles McBride -- who played 47 minutes off the bench Sunday and finished with 16 points, five assists, four three-pointers and one rebound -- would likely get all the run he can handle. The Knicks are also planning on finalizing a contract with Shake Milton once he clears waivers, so he too could be pressed into action as a member of the backcourt rotation if Brunson isn't able to play Tuesday.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Won't return due to knee injury

Brunson (knee) is out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Cavaliers. Brunson injured his knee less than a minute into the game and was deemed questionable to return before being shut down for the night shortly after the start of the third quarter. His status for Tuesday's matchup with the Hawks should be considered questionable, at best. Miles McBride and Donte DiVincenzo are candidates for increased roles in Brunson's absence.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Questionable to return

Brunson is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cavaliers due to left knee soreness. Brunson suffered a non-contact injury to his left knee on a mid-range jump shot less than a minute after tipoff and is questionable to return. Brunson not being immediately ruled out should provide some optimism considering the nature of the injury, but no official diagnosis has been provided. Miles McBride and Donte DiVincenzo will likely see extended minutes as long as Brunson remains sidelined.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Available to play Thursday

Brunson (neck) is available to play Thursday against the Warriors, Steve Popper of Newsday reports. As expected, Brunson will be returning from a one-game absence Thursday night, so he's safe to fire up in all leagues. With Brunson back in action, Miles McBride will likely return to the second unit where his value will take a significant dip.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Intends to play Thursday

Brunson (neck) will warm up with the intention to play Thursday versus the Warriors, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports. If all goes well during Brunson's warm-up, then he will be out there Thursday night, which would likely prompt Miles McBride's return to the second unit. Check back closer to tip-off for official word on Brunson's status.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Iffy against Golden State

Brunson (neck) is listed as questionable for Thursday's game versus the Warriors. Brunson is in danger of missing his second straight contest due to neck cervical spasms. If the All-Star guard is ruled out, Miles McBride would likely draw another start.
