Cowboys' Princeton Fant: Sticking around Dallas
Fant signed a reserve/future contract with the Cowboys on Monday.
Fant signed with the Cowboys' practice squad ahead of the 2023 campaign, appearing in two games with the team during the regular season but failing to record a stat while playing 30 special-teams snaps. The tight end will now look to compete for a spot on the active roster in 2024.

The Cowboys elevated Fant to their active roster ahead of Thursday night's game against the Seahawks.
The 24-year-old's elevation is likely an indication that Peyton Hendershot (ankle) won't be activated from injured reserve by Thursday night's contest. Fant signed with Dallas as an undrafted free agent this past offseason, and he has yet to appear in an NFL game. In his five-year collegiate career, the Tennessee product was able to log 579 receiving yards on 52 receptions.

Dallas signed Fant to the practice squad Wednesday, Patrik Walker of the team's official site reports.
Fant will get a chance to continue his development with the Cowboys after failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster. The undrafted rookie out of Tennessee showcased versatility on offense back in college, but he could need time to translate that skill set to the NFL level.
