Swain was cut by the Eagles on Sunday, Andrew DiCecco reports.
Swain had just joined the team Wednesday after being let go by the Dolphins earlier in August. The Florida product will now have to work to find a new opportunity, likely on a team's practice squad after 53-man rosters are set.

The Dolphins waived Swain (hamstring) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Swain was waived/injured over the weekend and is now free to look for work elsewhere once he's healthy. He caught three passes for 74 scoreless yards in three games for the Broncos last season. The 2020 sixth-rounder just turned 25 earlier this month.

Swain cleared waivers, so he'll now be forced to miss the entire 2023 campaign unless he can reach an injury settlement. The wideout's injury was expected to keep him out for only a week, so it's likely he tries to make a return at some point this season.

Swain's injury was expected to keep him out for a week, but if he clears waivers, he'll revert to the Dolphins' injured reserve and be forced to miss the entire 2023 campaign, barring an injury settlement. The 25-year-old hasn't found a consistent role since being waived by Seattle during final roster cuts in 2022.

Dolphins' Freddie Swain: Scooped up by Miami
The Dolphins claimed Swain off waivers from the Broncos on Wednesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Swain opened the 2022 season on Miami's practice squad and appeared in one game for the club before Denver signed him in December. After Denver cut Swain on Tuesday, the 24-year-old will now rejoin the Dolphins for his second stint with the team. In 37 career regular-season games, Swain has recorded 42 catches for 576 yards and six touchdowns. The bulk of that production came while he was with the Seahawks in 2020 and 2021.

Broncos' Freddie Swain: Picks up hip injury Sunday
Swain injured his hip during Sunday's 31-28 win versus the Chargers.
Prior to his departure in the fourth quarter, Swain hauled in two of three targets for 54 yards and muffed a punt that was recovered by teammate Delarrin Turner-Yell. With the Broncos' season over, Swain will conclude it with four catches (on six targets) for 74 yards in four appearances between Miami and Denver.
