UTSA vs. Louisiana Tech: Live updates, score, results, highlights, for Saturday's NCAAF game
Live scores, highlights and updates from the UTSA vs. Louisiana Tech football game
Game Recap
The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs were the 41-27 winners over the UTSA Roadrunners when they previously met last November. On Saturday? They had no such luck. It could have gone either way late during winning time for the Bulldogs or UTSA, but it was UTSA snatching the 27-26 win. Louisiana Tech was up 19-6 at the end of the half but couldn't hold on to the lead.
RB Sincere McCormick continued his habit of dropping crazy stat lines, rushing for three TDs and 165 yards on 37 carries. That's the most rushing touchdowns McCormick has had all year. Working against UTSA was the performance of QB Frank Harris, who threw two interceptions with only 189 yards passing.
No one had a standout game offensively for Louisiana Tech, but QB Luke Anthony led the way with one touchdown.
The loss dropped the Bulldogs' record to 3-2. The win got the Roadrunners back to even at 3-3.
Louisiana Tech will take on the UAB Blazers at 3:30 p.m. ET next Saturday at home. Like Louisiana Tech, UAB is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 24-20 to the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns. As for UTSA, they will go up against the Florida Atlantic Owls at noon ET next Saturday at FAU Stadium. Unlike UTSA, Florida Atlantic will be limping in after taking a loss.
