Here's the latest on the Big 12's top players projected to play on Sundays.
1. WR Terrance Williams , 6-2, 205, Baylor
Why he has the top spot: Williams had the kind of stat line on Saturday that looks made up. He caught only three passes but had 163 receiving yards and two touchdowns. If Williams has one-on-one coverage and there's no safety help -- as was the case in the video above -- it's likely he's going to go for a touchdown. He's too strong and too fast for college corners and that freakish ability will serve him well in the NFL.
Season stats (five games): 37 receptions, 830 yards, 8 receiving touchdowns, first in FBS in receiving yards per game (166.00).
Player ranking: Williams is ranked 26th overall and is rated as the fourth-best wide receiver in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings.
Up next: Baylor travels to Texas this Saturday and Williams will likely be matched up against an NFL-caliber corner, most likely Carrington Byndom, who is the ninth-rated corner in the latest player rankings.
2. QB Geno Smith , 6-3, 220, West Virginia
Why he has the second spot: The numbers for most quarterbacks would not have looked that bad -- 29 of 55 for 295 yards and a touchdown -- but for Smith, his performance against Texas Tech was not up to his usual standards. Coach Dana Holgorsen blamed his low completion percentage on the Lubbock wind, but Smith debunked that theory. This was simply an off game. His receivers dropped passes for what seemed like the first time all year and his accuracy was not what we've come to expect. The one positive was that Smith extended his streak without an interception.
Season stats (six games): 195 of 259 (75.3 percent), 2,271 yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 71 rushing yards, 1 rushing TD.
Player ranking: Smith is ranked second overall and rated as the top quarterback in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings.
Up next: Kansas State comes to Morgantown this weekend with one of the Big 12's best defenses. The Wildcats only rank seventh against the pass in the conference (238.5 yards per game), but they have a way of forcing quarterbacks into bad decisions -- see Landry Jones.
3. DE Jackson Jeffcoat, 6-5, 245, Texas
Why he has the third spot: Jeffcoat might have played his last game with the Longhorns. The junior defensive end is finished for the season after suffering a right pectoral muscle rupture against Oklahoma. The Longhorns have had issues defensively -- mostly tackling -- but Jeffcoat was not the problem. He did his job getting into opposing backfields and unless injury concerns drop his stock, he will be a first-round pick if he decides to skip his senior season.
Season stats (six games): 31 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 4 sacks, 1 pass breakup, 6 QB hurries, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery.
Player ranking: Jeffcoat is ranked 20th overall and is rated as the third-best defensive end in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings.
Up next: Jeffcoat will undergo surgery and begin rehab either preparing for the NFL Draft or his senior season at Texas.

Keep an eye on: FB Trey Millard, 6-1, 256, Oklahoma
Why you should watch him: Millard has the physical tools to be a great blocking fullback in the NFL. What separates him from other fullbacks is what he can do with the ball in his hands. Oklahoma found a way to involve Millard on Saturday against Texas, and he put up 164 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on eight touches. He's sure to be more involved in the offense going forward.
Season stats (five games): 12 carries, 99 rushing yards, 1 TD, 11 receptions, 165 receiving yards, 1 TD
Player rankings: Millard is ranked 105th overall and is the top-rated fullback in CBSSports.com's latest player rankings.
Up next: Oklahoma plays Kansas on Saturday. The Jayhawks have an improved defense this season, but they don't have the athletes to match up with OU and this is a game that could turn into a stat-stuffer for OU's best skill players.
