  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Solid outing in loss

Hendricks contributed eight points (3-8 FG, 2-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 33 minutes during Wednesday's 118-111 loss to the Spurs.

Hendricks recorded his seventh game this season with at least one steal and one block during Wednesday's loss to the Spurs. The rookie forward is averaging 8.8 points, 6.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 26.6 minutes across 14 starts this season.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Three blocks in OKC

Hendricks had 12 points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 24 minutes during Wednesday's 119-107 loss to the Thunder.

The rookie forward made his fourth straight start since returning from a toe injury and displayed his versatile skill set, draining multiple threes for the third straight game and recording at least one block for the fourth straight. Hendricks has started 10 straight games in total around the injury, averaging 9.3 points, 7.2 boards, 1.4 threes, 1.2 blocks and 0.8 assists, and while his usage and limited shot volume put a ceiling on his short-term fantasy value, he's establishing himself as a key part of Utah's rebuild.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Tallies first double-double in loss

Hendricks contributed 15 points (5-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal over 33 minutes during Saturday's 119-100 loss to the Timberwolves.

Hendricks hauled in a team-high-tying rebound total while ending as one of three Jazz players with 15 or more points and posting one of two double-doubles for Utah in a losing effort. Hendricks set a new season high in scoring, notching his sixth game of the year with 10 or more points. He has hauled in at least 10 boards in three games this season, but this was the first double-double of the rookie's career.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Makes mark defensively in return

Hendricks (toe) tallied three points (1-7 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and three blocks across 19 minutes Friday in the Jazz's 124-122 win over the Hawks.

Hendricks stepped back into the starting five Friday in his return from a three-game absence due to a ligament sprain in his left big toe, and though he didn't enter the contest with a specified minutes restriction, the Jazz ended up keeping his playing time in check anyway while he battled foul trouble. Aside from racking up five fouls and shooting poorly during his time on the court, Hendricks was still able to make a useful contribution on the defensive end. Now that he's past the toe injury, Hendricks should see his playing time pick up steadily in the games to come as the 29-37 Jazz shift into evaluation mode for some of their young talent in the midst of a losing season.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Available to play

Hendricks (toe) is available for Friday's game against the Hawks and will start, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Hendricks missed the past three games for Utah, but he logged a full practice Wednesday and is all set to return. He'll be limited to about 25 minutes, as the Jazz look to err on the side of caution. In his last six appearances, Hendricks averaged 9.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.3 three-pointers.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Questionable to play Friday

Hendricks (toe) is questionable to play Friday against the Hawks.

Hendricks logged a full practice Wednesday, and given the Jazz don't play until Friday, it seems he has a good chance of suiting up. The rookie out of UCF, who has missed the last three games with the injury, is averaging 9.2 points and 7.0 rebounds per game over his previous six starts.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Full practice participant

Hendricks (toe) went through a full practice Wednesday, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Hendricks has missed Utah's last three contests due to a ligament sprain in his left big toe. However, the rookie forward's return to practice is a good sign of his availability for Friday's matchup with Atlanta. Before getting hurt, the rookie had started his last six appearances, averaging 9.2 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 three-pointers, 0.8 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.5 steals in 25.2 minutes per contest.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Out at least one week

The Jazz announced Tuesday that Hendricks has been ruled out for at least one week after an MRI confirmed a ligament sprain in his left big toe, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Hendricks suffered a left big toe injury against Washington on Monday and is slated for an extended absence. In his absence, Brice Sensabaugh and Luka Samanic are candidates to receive increased playing time. Hendricks will likely be evaluated ahead of a March 15 game versus Atlanta.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Won't return Monday

Hendricks has been ruled out for the second half of Monday's game against the Wizards after suffering a left big toe sprain, Tony Jones of The Athletic reports. He collected eight points (3-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 14 minutes prior to exiting.

Hendricks will be considered day-to-day moving forward until more information on his injury comes to light. Look for Brice Sensabaugh and Luka Samanic to pick up extra minutes in the second half with Hendricks out of commission.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Flirts with double-double

Hendricks ended with 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one steal in 27 minutes during Thursday's 115-107 loss to the Magic.

Hendricks has drawn four straight starts, averaging 9.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in 27.0 minutes per game during that stretch. The rookie's defensive production could be better, but he's been efficient from the field and displayed a competent three-point shot, draining multiple triples in back-to-back games.

  • Jazz's Taylor Hendricks: Solid numbers in first career start

Hendricks ended with 12 points (5-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds and one assist across 26 minutes during Thursday's 115-107 loss to Charlotte.

Getting the first start of his NBA career, Hendricks nearly produced his first career double-double in a very solid performance. The Jazz have started their youth movement in earnest -- Keyonte George, the 16th overall pick in the 2023 Draft, has started the last four games at point guard, and Hendricks (ninth overall in the same draft) figures to get a long look at power forward.

This may be an indication that he'll be getting many more opportunities to close out the season.
