The Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks will look to continue their success on their home court when they take on the Jacksonville Dolphins is a key non-conference matchup on Tuesday afternoon. Also helping power the offense is sophomore guard Gyasi Powell. He has scored in double figures in four games, including a season-high 15 in a 91-51 win over Voorhees. He had 14 points and six rebounds in an 81-53 loss at UNC-Wilmington on Dec. 10. For the season, Powell is averaging 8.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists, while connecting on 52.7% of his field goals, including 57.1% from 3-point range.

Why UL Monroe can cover 

Junior guard Tyreke Locure helps power the Warhawks' offense. He leads the team in scoring and is averaging 13.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game. He is connecting on 40% of his field goals, including 34.9% from 3-point range. He has reached double-digit scoring in each of the past five games and in 10 of 12 games on the year. He is coming off a 17-point, seven-assist performance in Saturday's 83-59 win over Lamar.

Senior guard Jamari Blackmon also helps provide offense for Louisiana-Monroe. He has reached double-figure scoring in seven of 11 games, including a 16-point performance against Lamar.
