Dead heat grading and payouts vary depending on the online sportsbook that a golf bettor is using. Dead heat grading is applied to golf betting markets that include finishing position, round leader and matchups, including two-ball and three-ball. The more players that wind up tied in a matchup or a finishing position on the leaderboard results in a bigger reduction of the initial stake wagered.
